I do know that abuse victims, when they get older, either act out by molesting others, sleeping around, or hold it inside and torture themselves, a lot of times with drugs and alcohol to numb their pain. in a society where people look the other way while a crime is being committed to their fellowmen, it's a sad world.

You see these graphic photos. What about all the children that lack the social skills and self esteem and self confidence to carry themselves in the world? My parents isolated me and moved every year. I was mentally, physically and psychologically abused. I was normal in every way except with limitations they enforced in me. I left home at 17. I fought very hard to be the wife and Mother I am now. No one can say they did it except me.

I'm not condoning abuse here, but there are far too many parents of my generation who are not disciplining their kids properly. People hear of abuse cases, get freaked out and take it to the opposite extreme in which they think that putting a kid in "time out" is a sufficient form of reprimand. This is why we have far too many misbehaved kids with no respect for authority. Whatever happened to a healthy mix of love AND discipline?

Kids are stupid fucks anyway. Their mouthy, whining attitudes sums up their inevitable thrashings by their parents. If I beat my wife, then it's okay to beat my kid, plain and simple.
