No this knife is legal everywhere because of a legal loop hole in it's design which is a bump at the base of the blade that allows u to swing the blade out with ur thumb that combined with a locking handle is all u need to keep a knife like this nice n legal

I have one of these n it's awesome I love it at first it was tough to open one handed cuz the lock was designed for two hands but with practice I was flicking this baby open with style n it's solid as rock I use mine for everything hunting fishing n any other random job if u like knives get one there great

This is a nice knife come really sharp,it locks really well and you dont need a strong grip to keep the blade in place,unlike some other folders i have seen.I have the double edge version.

Hi, just a gentle reminder that what knife companies may consider a legal opening may not be considered one by the jurisdiction you're in, or the cop confiscating your knife. Many states outlaw, in addition to balisongs & switchblades, knives which "can be opened with gravity or centrifugal force". This would most definitely count.

Winchester, Old Timer, Case, Gerber, Smith and Wesson, Swiss Army, Leatherman, Buck, etc. Grant it some of the bigger knives can be flicked open with one hand if done right, but they were not designed to work like that. Do it enough times, and the hinges will get weak and break. Triple action knives, butterfly, and switchblade were made specifically to be used with one hand, and be a fast opening knife.
