English Alphabet has 26 characters + vowels, this here is the Thai Alphabet which has 44 consonants and doesn't even include the 32 vowel combinations...
I'm learning Thai and can write very well all these characters...but trying to listen to the tonal changes in thai always gets me, I have farang hearing haha...

Pronunciation is a VERY big hurdle to get over though!
make fun of it is the best way to learn. BY YOURSELF listen to thai music or TV program/ video from youtube and try to copy the funny or strange sounds that you hear. You will feel really stupid and look like it too but once you get a feel for all the strange sounds of thai then you can be aware of sound and recognize a phrase. memorize a song and you don't have to even try to understand but when you study thai then you will have pronounciation down pretty well and speaking come naturally
The Thai alphabet have about 45 letters!! Each of the letters have a little poem that goes with it! The Thai alphabet is alot diffult than the Spanish alphabet because just like French,Spanish,English, these langauge alphabet just goes but the letter!
Spanish alphabet is mostly one syllable for each letter except for dobleve, equis, etc whereas in the Thai alphabet each letter has a name. Example; soldier, monster, chicken, bell.
30 letters in al alfabeto espanol, el alfabeto tai tiene 59 letras y cuatro marcas para el tono del vocal.

they add a little two words to the end of each thai letter of the alphabet so it is easier for kids to understand .. and it's more fun to say :)
