i got a konata from a local shop. it didnt have the outer box and i decided to get it anyway not thinking about looking at the figure close up and when i got back in my car i open the plastic packing up and the figure felt really tacky and felt like low quality PVC.the joints were all at funny angles and there was a broken part. so i took it stright back and got a refund.a few months later i was hunting around on the internet looking up on how to tell if they were fakes. yeah it was a fake one

hyunn~ I have that lucky star konata figure and everything is lovely and I love it very much but for some reason, the hole in which you put the stand in the back of her hair is slightly too small and it won't go in T~T So I'm stuck with just putting the stand in though the hole in her back and living with her head tilted down. Another thing I don't like about the Yutaka head is that her eyes are closed. It just ruins it a little for me. The Minami and Hiyori head have a natural normal look, while the Misao and Yutaka heads just don't come looking completely normal.

@darkkokiri....look carefully on the package, bootlegged figmas have bad packaging,... have you noticed the smell of the figure when you opened it?if its fake, it'll smell like fresh paint... authentic figmas smells very nice...

Anime and figure collecting, like many other hobbies, are actually targeted more for adults than children. It's only because of the stereotypical view of the society that figure collecting and Anime watching are deemed for children.

Most Anime fans are adults who can afford and appreciate this hobby. I highly doubt you'll find many fans out there that are younger than 15.

release dates for figures vary a LOT between countries. depending on where you live it may take several months before you finally get your hands on something. I live in the US, and summer uniform konata doesn't come out until October 30th.
