Of course it's expensive to go there. If it were cheap and easily accsesible, you'd have cars parked on the side, and Arepa sellers, with Polar carts selling all day. I'm happy to know, that it is this way for a reason ....think about it....Oh ! and I knoe for a fact, that you can drive ( not expensive...$.09 cents a agallon ) to Canaima...and then take a "Cheap" tour to the fall. try that!.
