  • @demivee23 Clearly you didn't read the description. You also don't have a grasp on grammar. Way to go!

  • wow at 1:16 u can clearly hear the overtones.

  • what about a conn 46k ware can i find one like your

  • Vice Versa??? on a 46k???? YESSS!!!!

  • nice conn ware can i find one

  • @deville1bigboy people have them, but they tend to hold on to them until they can't bear the weight. There is a Holton 'jumbo' on Dillon's right now that looks pretty good - cheap too!

  • @Mithosphere im a tuba player, and i would love to purchase one of these when i get a full time job, and i got two questions: How much do the 46k jumbo sousaphones cost? AND How much does a 46k jumbo sousaphone weigh?

  • @bloodvein3 Seeing as how CG Conn doesn't make the Grand Jumbo model anymore (not since WWII), you are only going to run across these used. In which case, depending on the condition and if you're dealing with someone who knows what it is, you're looking at somewhere between, say, $1200 and $5000, maybe more.

The weight varies between model and year, some weigh 40 lbs, some weigh 54 lbs. Conn, as far as I can determine, didn't necessarily have a set design - they more or less used what they had.

  • @Mithosphere thank you so much. very helpful :)

  • Very nice find! It was a 1000 miles away? The pedal tones must cause earthquakes.

  • intrested in selling ?
