Imposing your religion on a state is usually never intentional, but when your country's motto is in direct reference to Christianity, you know that religion is a large part of American culture. Many of the soldiers pray every night. Many of the people in the country may choose to convert to christianity as it is seen more favourable to support the invading troops.

"Unity, Liberty, Socialism"--Ba'ath was a response to colonialism and based in socialist/arabist ideology. The Islamist response to colonialism was the Muslim Brotherhood, which has developed as a distinct entity from Arab nationalism and is often (violently) opposed to it.

As a British person I've had exposure to the Christian terrorism (both Catholic and Protestant) in Northern Ireland. What I meant by my initial comment to this video was not to say that Islam is the only religion with extremism, as this is obviously not the case. What I did mean was that in the specific case of Iraq we are/were not at war with the country after Saddam's removal, but the extremists.

With the papers they found, they found out he was a med student from the U.K. He was about to graduate too. Instead he dropped everything, & went to Iraq to fight the Jihad. The Troubles in Ireland was all locals that wanted revenge for massacres done by the Gov. Not a religious call to arms.

Because there were many groups, split into sunni, shia, secular etc. And then you have smaller ideologies in these groups and then you have smaller militias and armed groups fighting each other for control. All of them wanted Americans out, but that's all they could agree on.

"Unity, Liberty, Socialism"--Ba'ath was a response to colonialism and based in socialist/arabist ideology. The Islamist response to colonialism was the Muslim Brotherhood, which has developed as a distinct entity from Arab nationalism and is often (violently) opposed to it.

Because there were many groups, split into sunni, shia, secular etc. And then you have smaller ideologies in these groups and then you have smaller militias and armed groups fighting each other for control. All of them wanted Americans out, but that's all they could agree on.

1- FRIENDLY FIRE!!!! Of course there isnt going to be a seen of enemy fire, they were simply pointing out the fact that it was possible friendly fire, not enemy small arms.
2- There was no enemy fire!!!! It was fucking friendly fire, it was a false report.
3- There government didnt cover it up. The officer in charge made a false report, then there was an investigation, then they had to confirm there facts. But until then,report stands as truth. All that at least takes 3 months.

The dead WERE uniformed armed servicemen, before the wars & invasions.
At least 1 was //forced// to exit uniformed service, because of economic duress of not being able to afford raise his child as a 12 year noncommissioned officer. All 4 would have been heavily coerced to exit lawful service, to unlawfully enter a theater of war as a mercenary.
The choice is less than a hundred dollars a day minus taxes for a GI, to over a thousand dollars a day plus expenses as a criminal.
