Wow, I expected better from the more pricey PCM loco. I like the sounds on my BLI model much more than the Loksound. I agree that the whistle and bell sound terrible!!! I'll stick with my BLI sounds

The BLI w/ QSI sounds SOOOOO much better .. the horn on this lok-sound sounds terrible.

This Y6b isbest sound and runs well.But hard to find it.

I have one my self and it is a must have as far as steam IMHO. It has pulled 70 plus cars up a 1.2 percent grade at K-10 Model Trains club layout. Slow speed is the best I have seen yet. I love all the sounds except the whistle. K-10 does have some vidos here at You Tube, great layout.  Cuda Ken

Nicely detailed locomotive. Can't say I care much for the sound system. Short sample on a loop maybe. Whistle had a tinney sound.
