  • March on Washington DC. White House.

  • politicians are no worse than a car salesman. Always lying and telling the people what they want to hear why they do illegal activities behind the people's back

  • Luckily this never happened! The protests continue!

  • NICE VIDEO, well said.

  • I'm starting to wonder how bloomberg got so rich!

  • @fruitygumball hes a jew

  • Well No shit! They're in the park cuz they're trying to get their message out to the bankers.

  • HE SAID U FILTHY PROTESTERS AT 3:13 AND IT SAID WEALTHY...........LOL

  • OCCUPY WALGREEN'S!

  • Cenk is aggressive! Who wrote this news piece? And WHERE IS ANA!?!?!

  • /watch?v=WmEHcOc0Sys-- real talk

  • Yup, we're getting too much attention in D.C., too. But the park police extended our permit for four months and haven't made us take down our tents - yet. Also, when the temp gets under 32 or over 90 F, the city is required by law to provide us with shelter. Homeless advocates are glad because it will force the city to expand its homeless shelters. A large section of Mitch Snyder's shelter (now run by the CCNV) is closed until winter. Homeless people are coming to us for food and blankets.

  • Where's Batman when you need him?

  • Bloomberg and the owners of the park want to clean it. The filthy cockroaches like living in filth and trash. Bye the way Jank looks like you are using scare tactics. What a surprise Liberals use scare tactics to gain support.

  • While I am not surprised,

    you were

    WRONG AGAIN CENK.

    Whats that?

    You were WRONG AGAIN.

  • Erection of tents.... Lol

  • I don't see Bloomberg's terms as anything short of totally reasonable. Is Bloomberg a greedy opportunist fuck? Sure, but that's not illegal.

Hey at least the gov. won't Tianamen Square the protestors because we've got a progressive in the white house....oh, wait....shit.

  • Please Occupy Wallstreet do not give up, its just taking hold here in europe! Keep going! Do not give up!

  • @Babs44sun Also known as you're starting to riot

  • We need a new party that is not funded by corporations.

  • Police: We have people layin at the park send back up!

  • So Freedom of Speech = cool.

    Having bad manners = illegal

    All this bullshit = 100%

  • These OWS people should never break or buckle, even under these new rules. What's the worst thing that could happen? Could they get shot at? Not if they don't want a giant civil war on their hands, and a response of violence from the large mob. Tazed or pepper sprayed? That's already happened, and they're doing just fine. There is nothing this authority can do to stop them, they must stand their ground.

  • and what if they all lay down?

    flashmob that bitch

  • Did anyone else notice that "earliest" was missing the 't' at the end?

  • So ironic, we encourage democracy and protests abroad, but if it takes place at home, then police pepper spray you, taze you, demonize you, and make excuses to "clean parks".

    USA, USA, we're number 1, we're number 1.

  • @Stingerbillion That park was supposed to be cleaned each day, it has not been cleaned in a month so imagine your home with 100 people in it who are not showering or leaving. (It is owned by a company that has a right to tell them to fuck off.)

  • @leonia97

People have right to change political and economic system to communism and nationalize all privately owned companies.

  • @leonia97 It is owned by a company that does not have the right to tell anyone to fuck off. They have to provide the park as part of a deal to violate zoning laws. The park must be open to the public 24/7. People cannot be refused entry or occupation.

  • @adolthitler I assume you got that from there other video, thats still irelivant by law i cannot set up a tent in central park barring a few nights let alone this park, nor can i trespass which numerous people have done in other places

  • @leonia97 Occupation as part of a protest is supposed to be protected under free speech. Cleaning the park can be done while the protesters are there or after the protesters leave. Also they were not asked to allow cleaning they were told get out or we will bust heads and arrest people.

  • @adolthitler And they have not been refused entry/occupation they were recommended to leave so they could clean the park which was not cleaned for a month.

  • @Stingerbillion very, very ironic how our media would pound on Mubarak and Ghadafi who have absolute control over their country and citizens...HOWEVER when we protest banks for greed and corruption all of a sudden they get defensive. The moment we try to take the media of their power...the money given to them by corporations who we are protesting..they start pounding on the 99% of Americans. Their no different from dictatorship...just because they live in a world where everyone's white and rich.

  • @keenkennyny Completely true. This country's propaganda is "freedom", freedom for whom exactly? The middle class or the rich? It's pretty pathetic. This is dictatorship, and you have freedom just as long as you don't protest.

  • USA is turning into a police state..... UNLESS YOU DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

  • Thank you so much for all of your coverage on #ows. You guys were in the game LONG before the media circus.

  • psh, going to prison is probably a better life than most of the protesters have.

  • doing this is civil war 2 in the making, if you're a rich mayor that likes pissing off the little ppl, what's the worse thing you can do?

  • I hope they do try to shut down the protests, people will just get even angrier

  • The park was not dirty before hand, it is now spotless. At this point the efforts by the management company are purely political. First the ignore you.....

  • Here's how to win: agree to the cleanup but have a large group of protestors stay behind and volunteer to help. Don't just stand around, make it clear that you mean business. Pick up trash, sweep, hose down the street, whatever needs to be done. Once it's done stand your ground and refuse to leave. They won't be able to come up with any excuses to kick you out. None. You'll win.

After that make new signs: "We cleaned up our mess Wall Street. You clean up yours."

  • Under dictators they shutdown protests without giving reason and under "Democracies" they shutdown protests using vague laws.

    wtf is the difference

  • *country

  • To anyone near Youngstown Ohio. We're having ours start tomorrow, planning on running through Election Day.

Let's see them shut down all of us all over the coutry.

  • That bullshit about sanitary conditions is exactly the same they used against us on march.

  • BYOB: Bring your own bench. Rules don't prohibit that.

  • Doesn't that citizen saying "groping, drug use ... " sound A LOT like what Gaddafi used to say those libian protesters are doing? LOL apperantly mayor Bloomberg uses the same PR people as Gaddafi did.

It's funny cuz its TRUE :)

I really hope that Cenk would mention this cuz this would be a pretty bad PR hit.

  • "the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." This was the reason of why its was written. They knew people would try to challenge the very act of the freedom to set things right, to remedy, or rectify; to make amends for; Satisfaction for wrong done; reparation. The very correction to our social problems is reflected by those who fear the peaceful. Strength lies in the cohesiveness of the individual. Adversity is naturally, innate.

  • @humanisall They have a right to assemble while on there own property, they are protesting in an area that is owned by a company and it wants to at least clean the park.

  • @leonia97 The park is public space under private management.

  • I have come to the realisation that the protesters are Conservatives. The real radicals are the politicians and corporations who have in the last 30 years pushed neoliberalism on the world. The most successful nations like Scandinavia and germany are the most equal.I just pray all of the 99 percent wake up to the neoliberal lies."None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free" Goethe.

  • I have an idea for the protesters, leave the park at 1am and then come back at 5am. Then the cops can't get people for sleeping in the park, and it would leave the park "unoccupied" for about four hours. Then we shall see what kinds of "complaints" are lodged then.

  • Bloomberg you fucking pig. What a horrible man repressing our right to public free speech. Hey maybe you should join your buddy Mubarak in prison. the nerve of this man. I thought as Mayor you're suppose to respect the opinions of all New Yorkers not just the very wealthy. You're no better than those dictators in the middle east trying to suppress the right of the people to protest. You and your wealthy buddies aren't going to win. We'll keep ouccpying Liteberty plaza. Long live the protest.

  • capitalism is great, unless you're one of the unlucky 3B people living on 2.50 a day. CAPITALISM RAWKS!!!!

  • only the rich are complaining. look at the 2 police videos I uploaded. The polic are sell outs. fuck the rich!!!!!!!

  • The real unsanitary orders are coming from Wall Street.

  • WHERE THE FUCK IS THE CONSTITUTION GODDAMMIT. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • @xmtc87x

    OH NOES!!! Not weed!!!

23 is awfully young to already be an old fogy with a stick stuck up your ass, and who gives a shit if some homeless people have a relatively safe place to sleep for a change without the cops messing with them.

Maybe they wouldn't BE homeless if there were more jobs out there paying a living wage.

  • They should all bring umbrellas, blankets, and a chair to sit on.

  • I live in south jersey and last week I went to occupywallst because I though protesting was the right thing. I was at that park from 5-9pm and this is what I saw. Almost all the people playing the instruments were smoking weed! Later on the night I saw people Rolling joints, it smells horrible an you can tell some of these people are homeless and are there just to have a place to crash. When u talk to them they have no idea what's going on. I am 23 years old and I was there dancing and yelling

  • @xmtc87x I dont doubt it, but that's no reason to discredit the protests. They're still there for the same reason they were there for in the first place

  • I didn't hear anything about umbrellas!

They should COVER THE ENTIRE PARK in umbrellas!

  • After 3 weeks of hundreds of people being in that park of course there will be damage to the park and it will need to be cleaned up. People can use the park and will be able to after it's repaired and cleaned. Also if the owner of the park wants them out of their park or property then they can kick them out.

  • Ok. So we attack them from home..I'm sure we can find a way to attack their wallets. Boycotts, quit your jobs, etc.

  • We've gotta keep fighting these rich bastards and force them to pitch in via taxes more than they are doing. As a working class citizen I pay my fair share, you greedy rich bastards should do the same!

  • ... since when did any one have a "right" to quiet enjoyment in a public location?

  • get real Cenk, winter is going to close it all down soon,...and earth warming ain't gonna help much, haha,..Luv it, Luv it,..hahaha haha

  • This is why liberals and democrats don't fight because our leaders turn against us. So we turn against them.

  • IT's VERY simple to 'save' the park - GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT - you antidemocratic fascist...

  • @StunnedByStupidity

exactly, right on!!,..businessmen should open a jobs fair right there, see the vermin scatter in all directions like rats leaving a sinking ship

  • Dear Diary

    Today Bloomberg is faggot.

  • They are not shutting it down "yet" they postponed the clean up for "now".

  • YaY! No more dissent against gov't! WoO!

  • I guess that either telling the people that they had to leave was a bluff, or they looked at the number of people that showed up and realized how hard it would be to boot them.

  • As much as many people are made afraid by the far left, I'm hoping more will realize that they're right about our republic being a "dictatorship of the bourgeois," in that elected officials will clearly choose to favor the wealthy class over the majority. Things are going to get ugly for our elites in due time if they don't stop spitting in our faces.

  • Looks like a couple hundred people were so set for a fight that they went looking for one even after they were told that they could stay.

  • this pisses me off

  • You have the right to free speech as long as you're not dumb enough to actually try it - The Clash

  • wtf is this, 89tiananmen? -__-

  • No time to back dow to this dictatorship go more on the offense its time you take back your country.

Show the world why America was once such a beautiful country show us why we shouldnt give up on you.

  • These corporations and big names in politics will fight u America to the teeth and bone, they will lie cheat arrest u falsly and do anything to keep u from being a democracy.

You are just like China,Libya etc now.

You citizens have finally starting to realize it DONT BACK DOWN now you go even more against the *establishment*

Gather more people in the park dont care what they say storm police offices around the country too protest them politicians and companies cause they are poison.

  • @DRock7977 American Spring?

  • #OCCUPYWALLSTREET WINS! Bloomberg backs down, protestors stay in park!!! v=c9D33hr4CW0

  • Mayor Bloomberg is a clown. The best way for Americans to save America is to stop voting Repubican and it will happen.

  • @sonofatiger or democrat. both are corrupt.

  • @sonofatiger I'm so tired of people who think that simply voting strictly democrat or strictly republican will save the country. The parties are a distraction which only serve to have people fight each other and believe they can fix everything by voting for the "opposite" party the next time. How are you so blind to this facade? Does it really matter if a republican starts a bullshit war, sends spending and debt through the roof while restricting our rights or if a democrat does it? WAKE UP.

  • @thelister4910 Thank you for restoring my faith that there is still someone sane out there.

  • @thelister4910 I would have given you a thumbs up, but I'm fucking tired of people saying "WAKE UP". I fucking HATE that phrase! It's becoming so cliche.

  • @395235 I actually agree with you. So does calling people blind, I actually thought about this while writing this post but I couldn't think of anything else that simply states that people need to realize what's going on. COME ON PEOPLE just doesn't sound as concise and effective to me. I only say exactly what I mean, not trying to post cliches.

  • @thelister4910 haha fair enough!

  • @395235 Agreed man, it sounds so condescending.

  • Many thanks to MoveOn and Bold Progressives for delivering petitions with over 300,000 signatures to Bloomberg last night. OWS lives on!

  • 1%: Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable

    GET READY, I AM.

  • oh please, when I used to work at the world financial center I would walk by that park and I would barely see anyone sitting there, because public places are a step down of "shit" for suits. FUCK THE 1%.

  • Simple Answer: Move all the protesters to Washington D.C.

  • Fuck that shit, this is America. We pride ourselves on the ability to protest.

When people were protesting scientology, did they fucking care? No, because scientology wasn't making them any money.

If the Egyptians could stand their ground, we can too.

  • okay to be fair it probly is getting pretty nasty there in the park.....i didnt see any porta potties or anything there and it dosnt take that long before unsanitary conditions can become a health issue...BUT!!!!...Bloomberg is full of shit instead of kicking the protesters out him and the city should be supplying them with porta potties and a few dumpsters to put there trash...its just a ploy to squash the rebellion and save face at the same time...it will be interesting how this will go down

  • Bloomberg's evil ploy failed!! Thanks to the 2000 protesters who showed up this morning at Zucotti Park! POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!!!!!

  • Where the fuck is Obama?

He's doing a protest in DC: Occupy White House

  • Cenk, I think you are over-reacting here. I get that you are very passionate about these protests (so am I) but I see that after weeks of wear on the park some sort of clean-up effort may have to take place in order for the protests to go on safely. To me this sounds reasonable enough and I disagree that these new rules are interfering with the first amendment. In fact, I think they might even benefit the image of the protesters as they can still be easily depicted as reckless, selfish losers.

  • @schlafanzyk what wear and tear?

  • @FionMacCumhail Have you seen what a properly planned open-air festival area looks like after a weekend? I have not been there at OWS, but after having seen NYC in its "clean" state this summer, I can only imagine what it looks like after weeks of ongoing protest. I'm just trying to be rational here.

  • They just outlawed picnics.

  • I hate you Mayor Bloomers. Yes, that is your new name - because your panties are in a bunch.

  • Cenk, Cenk, Cenk... the issue here is NOT freedom of SPEECH.

It is freedom of ASSEMBLY. It is still in the first ammendment along with freedom of religion, freedom of the press, and right to petition the government about grievances, but the key issue is freedom of ASSEMBLY not SPEECH.

  • Is everyone else forgetting that this is a PRIVATELY OWNED PARK?

  • @arnyjk Are you forgetting that we are SCREWED in this country right now?

  • @arnyjk ACTUALLY ITS A PRIVATELY OWNED "PUBLIC SPACE" WHICH IS MAINTAINED BY THE CITY AND THE PERMIT FOR THE PARK REQUIRES ACCESS TO THE PUBLIC...SO JUST WRONG ON YOUR PART...LOOK IT UP ITS NOT PRIVATE ITS PUBLIC DOMAIN

  • this is not a joke......this is not over it will go ON AND ON AND ON AND ON TILL THE CHANGE WE VOTED FOR IS ACHIEVED!!! POWER TO THE PEOPLE !!

WE ARE THE 99 WE ARE WATCHING .. WE WILL NOT GIVE UP

  • @calimar28 you can't be serious...

  • @chrispriveco. Sadly calimar28 is serious. They're also a KKK member which means they shouldn't be taken seriously, don't know what they're talking about, can't tell the truth and only talk big when they're hiding behind their computer and wearing a hood.

  • goddamned it, nobody shower while you're there, make flies your best friends, and hug the first rich bastard you see.

  • good news it's been postponed and the protestors are in fact still there !!

  • @DarkZombieMan007 Really?

  • well, if they're serious about this kind of stuff, than the protests are gonna turn violent and the protests are gonna turn into a full blown revolution;

    I mean come on… it's so transparent of how they want to just hurt the people, hurt the US citizens, the corruption the abuse it's all so transparent;

I'd LOVE to see an actual revolution in the US! the strongest nation in the world, and its run by corporatists? wow…. dangerous times… that's gotta change

  • Umm, it's NYC, there's not a single "quiet" part of it you can enjoy...

    Other than maybe central park.

  • DONT YOU GUYS FAIL, even us people in other countries need this! We need USA to lead the way, so hopefully we can stand up against the corrupted

  • At some point violence cannot be avoided.Guess we'll see how much people really care about their rights.

  • Everyone you must continue doing what you're doing, lay on benches, pitch tents, lay down in sleeping bags etc! What are the pigs gonna do? Arrest everyone? You have to "FIGHT" for your 1st amendment right, fight against these corrupt laws and policies ... and the pigs that enforce them!

  • @gwl1983 if they arrest them, it will be GLORIOUS! they won't be able to justify this anymore and their true oppressive colours will be revealed!

  • @gwl1983 You do that, but when the cops tell you the owners of the park want them out and the cops tell them the owners of the park want them out and they refuse to, don't complain when people are pepper sprayed.

  • @lilnicky492 I will absolutely complain if the cops pepper spray them, the protesters have the right to protest peacefully. The cops should only use pepper spray if they are in danger and need to defend themselves. The cops are upholding an unfair decision to disperse the protesters for no other reason than to silence them. The cops are just a gang by another name; the cops are the muscle, they do the dirty work of the corrupt, they're the heavies for the Bankers, Corps & Politicians.

  • @gwl1983 Yea they have the right to protest peacefully, but if the owners of the park where they are protesting don't want them protesting there and they call the cops and the cops tell the the protesters to move and they don't then they will get pepper sprayed.

  • @lilnicky492 Is the park public or private? Well, I guess in some states perhaps there can be a public park owned by a private entity?

  • @Vernonu9 The park referred to in this video is Zuccotti Park in Lower Manhattan owned by Brookfield Office Properties Inc, so yes it's a privately owned park open for public use, and if the owners want people out of it for repairs and cleaning then get out. And the whole cleaning and repairs have been postponed anyway.

  • @lilnicky492 well then yes, if the owners say leave their property, then you leave.

  • @gwl1983 Heres an idea dip shit protest the ones that make the laws, fucking idiots.

  • @leonia97 Here is an idea, THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!!!!! The 1% make the rules, that is the problem.

  • @MaudsPas idiot

  • @leonia97 Is that all you got?

  • @leonia97 Thats what I said you moron! Fight against the corrupt LAWS and the enforcers of those laws! Learn to read before opening your idiotic mouth.

  • @gwl1983 AND NO ONES DOING THAT is there anyone outside the whitehouse, capitol building etc NOPE there at wallstreat, las vegas, The smithsonian etc.

  • Protestors won this round. NO CLEANUP! Protestors are STAYING!

  • well why lewdness, drug use and sexual activity even be apart of this movement if we are to be taken seriously? idk.

  • With all the Police brutality being committed against peaceful protesters in New york. Why Don't Mr Nobel Peace Prize winner Obama call upon Nato to Bomb the hell out of new York?..... You know for spreading Peace and Liberty!

  • Well it is a park, and a privately owned one. I think they have every right to prevent people from using it as a campsite if they want. Not to say it's not politically motivated, but that they have the right to do this. Denying access to public property like Wall Street itself on the other hand... Not so much within their rights.

  • Here it is ! This THE TEST to prove you're really a protester or

    just some cowardly hipster.

  • it's ok i think it is time to leave the parks and hit the streets.

  • So wait, is this a privately owned, or a public park?

  • 6:30am Brookfield Properties announced that it would delay the "clean up" otherwise known as the dismantling of Occupiers of Wall St. to which the Occupiers chanted; " The ppl United, will never be defeated" Crazy Good! Apparently with the attempted "clean up" the Unions came in support of the Occupiers....Thank you to all who have OCCUPIED GREAT JOB!!!

  • @braithmorgan

Wow, an irl example of the Streisand Effect! W00t!

  • Shut down? More like start a riot. Do you REALLY think that they will allow themselves to be removed by the police? gg for the left and gg for America if they let themselves be pushed out without a big big fight.

  • Hahaha!

"Stop using the benches and seating areas so that people can use the benches and seating areas!"

    Hilarious.

  • @smaakjeks protesters aren't people.

  • @tooosweeet You right, they're supermen.

  • @Squiglypig - You're right, and they're also TRUE AMERICANS!

  • @12235117657598502586 IMO there's no such thing as being a true *insert nationality here* because that means that there's some way that they're supposed to be simply for being born or raised on a certain set of coordinates.

You can be a true *something* if it's philosophical, like a true capitalist, philanthropist etc.

  • @Squiglypig - Well, Mr. Smarty Pants, YOU'RE WRONG!.....Because I was referring to the fact that these protesters are ACTING upon the 'philosophical edict' that only Americans have written into their constitution - THE 1st AMENDMENT!

In my opinion, any American who try's to deny or prevent other Americans from exercising their rights...IS NOT A TRUE AMERICAN!

  • @12235117657598502586 - Well, Mr. Smarty Pants, YOU'RE WRONG!.......Because it's a "no true Scotsman" fallacy if you DO refer to anything as being un-*insert nationality here* because, like I said, being a citizen in a country has no influence whatsoever as to how you SHOULD be or how you ARE.

Also: You're wrong in thinking that only 'MURICANS have the right to free speech in their constitution.

    Most western countries have.

Also: Yay for being obnoxious. Good ol' 'MURICAN stereotype.

  • @12235117657598502586 Btw, you agreed with me when I jokingly called them supermen, which of course I didn't mean in satire. Then I CLEARLY state that IMO (which means "in my opinion", something entirely subjective) that you can't be a TRUE nationality.

    What's a true German like?

    A true Egyptian? Japanese?

The first paragraph of my first reply to you was a parody of how you were. I still say that it's just my opinion.

The 2nd and 3rd paragraphs are serious, though.

  • @Squiglypig See also: No True Scotsman fallacy

  • @Squiglypig That's unfortunate, for the females in the crowd.

  • @tooosweeet When you say "mankind" you don't mean only the males. Same goes for what I said.

  • @smaakjeks

    I lol'd.
