  • and how to come up to the mounting block omg wow thats amazing please inbox me !!

  • how did you get his to circle him around you !!! i cant evan get my horse to hold my horse in a circle in a round yard !

  • Amazing and talented horse!

  • That hors rid trained really good

  • Your a great person :)

  • That stallion is a beauty! I also have quite a bond with my horse Inferno.

  • AMAZING

  • how long did it take for you guys to be able to do all of this?

  • @Pinkitoes53 Well in total it took 5 years but Max was untouched when I bought him as a 3 year old and came with baggage from being nearly killed by a stallion. I was the only person he would let touch him. He wouldn't let anyone else within 10 feet. To teach a "regular" horse this stuff would take a lot less time. Probably a year or so if you were consistent with it.

  • That horse is AMAZING! I am getting my new horse arrive tomorrow and I am soooo excited!!!! :)

  • that really cool! your lucky you have a horse :)

  • cool, whats the best horse for a 5'10" man and beginner?

  • @macant3232 If you're starting out try to find a horse as quiet and forgiving as you can. Usually one that has done a bit of everything is a great find. Take someone with you that knows horses when you go to look at one. A horse can comfortably carry up to 20% of it's body weight so size depends on what you weight more than your height. An average horse being about 1000lbs can carry up to 200lbs including the saddle but shouldn't be expected to carry more than that. Good luck!

  • Ahh - How Wonderful

  • It's amazing how much Max conects with you.

  • @NateDog2040 Thanks :)

  • Wow, this video really lifts my spirits, what a geart horse & fabulous owner!!

  • uzasne :)

  • thats really good.. did u train him!??!

  • Yes I did all his training myself. He was untouched as a 3 year old when I bought him and was scared of both humans and other horses because he'd been nearly killed by a stallion and some mares when he was a weanling. He is a very difficult horse to train but we've done alright :) Thanks!

  • Arabians are great horses my first horse is an Arabian and he alway takes care of me wen we ride we've been through alot but they are definitly beautiful and great horses:)

  • That's just your opnion

  • Arabian horses look as if they're going to collapse, they can't jump as well as Hanoverians, they are as jumpy as hell, and Hanoverians are 1000x more beautiful.

  • arabian horses are 10x better stronger faster taller thinner their amazing

It is also an astoundingly beautiful horse. :) I just got a thouroughbred/arabian mustang/quarter horse mix gelding. he is 2 and 1/2 and his name is peyton. he is halter trained but now i dont know what else to do. (im a 13 year old girl with no trainer. im doing my training all by myself because of how much trainers cost) do you have anypointers for me? anything would help

  • aww !! he's so cute

  • Wow that's amazing hes a beautiful horse how'd you train him to do that?

  • @Dinah890

I used a lot of natural horsemanship techniques, started with Parelli and branched out from there. Thanks for the comment!

  • Cute horse(: I like him a lot!!

  • such a pretty horse i had horse once, but i out grew her lol

  • Fab horsemanship :)

  • I just happened to find your video. In fact, I'm a bit intimidated by horses. But it's easy to recognize and admire the mutual love, trust and special relationship the pair of you have developed. It's great that you have found such a smart horse to partner with!

  • @srch4me

He is the smartest horse I've ever worked with (and I've worked with quite a few over the last 10 years). He taught himself to open door handles, and gates etc. It's tough to keep him learning things because I run out of ideas! Thanks for the comment!

  • yes I rode him a bit at the end of this video. He has ringbone in both front legs and has had since he was quite young so he's mostly retired now but off and on as he was able to, he's been ridden quite a bit.

  • beautiful!!!

  • Thanks!

  • o my gosh!! how do u train a horse to do such good training?!?!?!? hes beautiful!!

  • now these are the kind of videos that should be only alowwed on youtube, this is fantastic

  • Thanks :)

  • Wow! What a beautiful horse your bond must have been unbreakable. One day I wish I will own my own farm and horse and I only wish i could have a relationship as strong as yours and Max's

  • Thanks. I'm sure if you work at it, you will! best of luck!

  • tell me how u do that!!!!!!

  • Visit the Parelli website and start with their program and you'll be able to do most of it if you stick with that. I spent about 5000 hours of training time with Max to get him to this level but he's a very difficult horse so it wouldn't take so long with another, easier horse.

  • wow i love the vid. you and your horse are amazing :)

  • Thanks!

  • aww your horse is gorgeous :) thats unbelieveable.

  • Thanks :)

  • nice horse, pretty colors. I have a paint i have a ton of vids of him. He really loves and listens to you. HOrses are so amazing.

what an inspiration you are :) you and your horse truly are unbreakable and this is just magnificent! very good for you :) you must have worked tremendously hard! it certainly paid off! and this video really has made my day :) x

  • Thanks. :) I'm sure you'll do great with your pony. Just keep at it. Best of luck!

  • Good for you! :) Do you have videos of you and your horse on here? Would love to see that. I've not done much PNH for a couple years now. Kinda veered off in other directions but I'd sure like to see what they're doing with the program now. It changes so much every year and keeps getting better IMO. Thanks for the comment!

  • Thanks!

  • SO impressive !! love your work ! really awesome !

  • Thanks! Glad you liked it.

  • your horse is beautiful.. and you can tell he loves ya !! good work, your horse is beautiful..

  • Thanks!

  • wow, you really are made to be together, its unbelieveable how much you love each other and how much he puts his trust into you. i would love it if my pony loved me like that, how did you build this bond? its just amazing!

  • Thanks! I like to think Max and I have a good relationship and hope that it can only get better. I recommend that people start learning natural horsemanship through the Parelli program and see where that leads you. You'd be surprised at how much of a difference natural horsemanship can make with your horse. Max was considered aggressive and dangerous before I found natural horsemanship. Good luck!

  • my mom just bought me a horse from her friend and his name is cahuna and (dont no if i spelled that right) He Is Brown With A White Question Mark On His Head Look At My Channel In 1 Week! And Ill Have It Up

  • omg hes soooo beautiful an u r a good trainer

  • Thanks! :)

  • Stunning Horse ♥

  • thanks!

  • beeautiful horse

  • that reminds me of my horse Sunny

  • arthritic problems at 8? How common is that? what are the symptons?

  • Max had an injury when he was almost 4 years old, and because of that has ringbone.. a type of arthritis in his front legs. He was only given a 50/50 chance of even being sound enough to walk around the pasture so he's done especially well. He's 11 now and shows no signs of lameness.

  • You're so luck! My horse had a ringbone too but had to get put down at 17 years old :( I was only 9 at that time.

  • Well we have our fingers crossed that Max will lead a long and healthy life but anything can happen at any time. You just have to enjoy them while you have the chance to. Sorry to hear your time with your horse was cut short.

  • This is so amazing!! Such a good job!! Im going to go try this on my horse! LOL, he might follow me with a carrot in my hand! ;)

  • Good luck! If you want to learn about natural horsemanship, i recommend starting with the Parelli program.

  • god i wish i had a horse

  • just go onto craigslist i almost bought a farm on there

  • He's Beautiful And Talented! I Hope You And him Have Many More Happy Years Of Companionship And Love!

  • Thank you!

  • Your horse is so cute and beautiful! And he is very talented too!! Great horse! =)

  • Amazing! Max is really gorgeous and you have an incredible bond. lol I used to ride at that barn! haha I just moved :P was it called Fox Trail when you were there?

  • Yep it was :) That was a few years ago now. Thanks for the comment!

  • You two are soo cute together :D

  • Cute! He looks like a Paint/ Appy cross, or Paint/ Warmblood cross. Am I right?

  • He's half percheron and half paint. He's the product of a PMU farm, went to auction as a weanling, and was wild when I bought him as a 3 year old. He'd been nearly killed by a stallion as a weanling and was scared of both horses and humans. He had a rough start.

  • Lukcy

  • Beautiful horse!!!!! What kind is he?

    Very talented too! :)

  • He's half percheron and half paint.

    Thanks!

  • omg i love your horse i want to get a horse like yours but cant find one that suits me could you give me a guide where to look and how much i would have to pay? i do parelli with my horse to but hes not good at the turn of forhand. your realy good at it ^_^ i wish to do that in the future.

  • Well it depends where you live and what you want to do with the horse. Are you looking for a pleasure horse or do you have some sort of sport in mind? You have to consider size, temperament, training, breed, registered or grade, age etc. There's a lot to it!

  • omg! he is so cute!! plz enter this is my contest for the best bond!

  • whats the name of this song?

  • It's called 'Addicted To You' by The Smith Bros.

    (:

  • THAT HORSE IS BEAUTIFUL you two must have been great friends

  • Thanks. We are still great friends. :)

  • I live in texas and i have 6 horses and we live on 2 acres and my best friend live right down the road from me and we always go horse back riding all over my property. It is really fun watching sunsets on our horses!

  • does she own a horse too?

  • ya she has 3 horses n we breed them n i have 6 brothers and 5 sisters n my sisters n i all have our own horses n they are

    Daisy

    Duke

    Joker

    Ace

    Piper

    Peanut

  • well.... great work. but i dont really like horses : D

  • he is absolutely outstandingly beautiful. I wish i had a horse. I would do anything for one especially one as beautiful as him.

    LOVE HIM.

  • Thanks! He thinks he's really something. He once ran head first into a beam in an arena because he was looking at himself in a mirror. hehe.

  • thats AWESOME!

  • he must really love to be by your side the whole time

  • I like to think so. I like to give him the choice of whether or not he wants to be with me which is why I play so much with him loose/at liberty to do what he wants.

  • wait is he 11 today 2009?? your horse is very very very pretty
