Sounds SHIT. Is it a V6? Nissan GTR sounds way better than this.

Looks generic too, not memorable or anything, like something out of a Burnout game...

The only potential thing its got going for it is superb handling.

@revcom301 The turbos will muffle the exhaust note, but it still sounds like a V8. Especially at full song. The Nissan GTR has one of the most uninspired exhaust notes of any performance car produced That's why there are so many aftermarket exhausts available for it.

As far as styling is concerned the 12C is function over form. Mclaren brass stated early in the development of the car they wanted subtle styling. They could have developed something crazy, but were all not 12 years old.

itr786 I saw the new Ferrari 458 yesterday and I thought the pics looked great but in the flesh it is a munter compared with the McLaren, especially the rear which is too fussy and also way too long.

MP4 denotes the racing heritage of this superb car. The MP4/8 was the 1993 F1 car for instance. This simply carries on the line of amazing cars McClaren come up with. I was there yesterday at the Moving Motor Show. Highly recommended.

Looks like a overgrown lotus. The back end looks hidious, the wheels look like they came straight out of wheel mania's warehouse. Would take a 458 italia ANYWAY OF THE WEEK! (and my favourite car of all time is the mclaren f1).
