All these diseases were created by our government and this one devastated formerly common birds and put many on the endangered species list that were never anywhere close to begin with to belonging there. Some birds such as the blue jay were particularly devastated and many sparrows and warblers. Of particular interest were the black capped chickadee and tufted titmouse and the sharp shinned and coopers' hawk including the almost extinct marsh harrier -formerly the marsh hawk.
