  • glad i got the mark v

  • Too much gain ! It's painful !

  • The Road King II and the Mark V each have the Lonestar Clean Channel so it's retarded to say one is better than the other.

  • @dbsens

Even if the preamp circuit is exactly the same, the power amp configuration is different for the Road King and Mark V.

Classic Fender amps sound different (Super, Twin, Deluxe, Princeton), but they have virtually the same preamp. The differences are the speakers, rectification (solid-state or tube), and the power amp configuration.

  • why would anyone prefer this amp over the normal Dual Rectifer?

  • @xXlopoXx Progressive Linkage. reverb, 2 FX Loops, and a extra channel. Also, the Road King has 12 modes and the normal dual rect has 8.

Simply put, the road king is much more versatile than the normal dual rect...

  • @xXlopoXx Also, according to Mesa Boogie, the road king has the lone star clean channel, resulting in a much better sounding clean channel(s).

except I believe the Mark V has a better clean channel....

  • @nrodri10 It may have better cleans... but what about when it comes to metal? What would you say to that?

  • @xXlopoXx

    better clean channel

EL34 sound that is immediately switchable

  • Awesome amplifier. The best on the market

  • you do not need to cut anything. Check my upload that i have recorded a clip with the road king 2. Clean are taken from the lonestar which is the best clean sound mesa ever produced. Add all the possibilities and choices that rd2 offers and you got the best sound mesa ever produced.

  • I can see your reflection in the bottom right lol.

  • i haven`t heard anything that made me believe that this amp is worth 2700 dollars at all, sorry.

  • You need to try it for real mate. This video doesn't do its justice!!!

  • I know what you mean. I have a Triple Rec. You need to use an EQ in the EFFECTS LOOP. At that point, these Rectifier sounds kill anything else for metal. I'm not familiar with the Lone Star clean channels, so I can't tell you anything there. It sounds good here, but the Mark V def has a better clean tone. I may get that instead. I'm up in the air still... :(

  • why did you have to use an EQ with your triple rectifier? Is there something wrong with the sound in any way. Im plannin on getting a Dual Rect. soon but there arent any dealers where i live.

  • I had a road king 1. i sold it , bought a diezel herbert

  • Sounds good. What guitar are you playing in this video? Thanks. :)

  • PRS Custom24

  • lucky you.....did you order through mail or internet?

  • bro which store in hk sells these? .... i lve here and am looking for one.thx

  • anyone who want to know how much of it , why dont you just google it !!!!!!

  • how much did it cost?

  • 呢個幾錢

  • 喔...見到你係盞燈入面*~*

  • Oh my god , mesa !

    my dream ..

  • 嘩-.- . 又多左個-_- ' .

  • it looks like ur playing backwards or it that just an effect of recording?

  • I think that's his reflection? That's why its backwards...
