The trouble is that the medical profesionals have to mindlessly parrot what they have been taught or they dont get their 100k+ a year, its disgusting really. My chemistry professor is pro-fluoride. He organised a debate on fluoride a few years ago and told me he couldn't get anyone to front the anti-fluoride case.
