  • Gaaaaaay

  • So sad and boring!!!!!

  • I saw this film for the first time yesterday at the cinema (I guess the UK release was way behind that in the States).

It absolutely blew me away on so many levels - not least Thomas Horn's epic perfermance.

I think it could well be the best film I have ever watched.

I am not ashamed to admit that on several occasions, I could not stem the tears rolling down my face - and I'm a 46 year old man.

Coming to terms with the loss of a loved one is a hard thing to bear.

  • just because some people might not like it it doesn't mean its shit everyone's got different taste so leave it alone

  • is it any farkin good retards .. "are you there, are you there"? let's play some U2 that'll sell tickets.. fark off!

  • Extremely Boring and Incredibly Retarded

  • This film is absolutely brilliant. That little boy was just an outstanding actor we will be seeing him in the future.

  • The boy looks like billy elliot and GAY

    Its a GAY movie

  • @willbarragan1 half the homo phobics in the world are gay but still in the closet, are u one of them?

  • This boy is gonna be Academy Award winner very soon in thew future.

  • I think we will see a lot of movies with Thomas Horn... he represents the new generation of actors!

  • this trailer makes it look like it might be happy, its not its one of the most depressing films of all time

  • i love this film its amazing its quite puzzling though.

  • UK director, not American, you all just got trolled

  • I just watched it...it's AMAZING. I totally recomend it.

This is a great, inspiring, deep movie. I don't and i will never regret watching it.

    LOVE everything about it.

  • I just watched it...it's AMAZING. I totally recomend it.

This is a great, inspiring, deep movie. I don't regret watching it. just AMAZING.

  • I love this movie <3

  • I had a field trip for english to watch this movie.. I had terrible seats which made the movie "Extremely Loud and Incredibly close" the movie itself was so odd?

  • شكله فلم محترم هادف

  • I want to watch this. I want to read the book too...

  • I love the ending song, U2 are my fave :)

  • this movie was horrible.

  • First impression is it's more cry baby 911 junk tossed with Tom Hanks a actor old people love and a kid. So in other words just another cookie cutter flick to appease the sheep. I bet there is religious undertones too there usually is. I won't dislike this because I haven't seen it but won't watch it ether. To say you need imagination to enjoy this in some way is true. Imagine a god, imagine Tom Hanks is anything but a token actor and imagine this isn't just propaganda. I prefer reality.

  • @darkenlight22 Exactly, seems a really shit idea and film tbf.

  • lol oscar bait

  • @StormingSheep See the sheep like it. :P

  • I hate that they turned this into a movie.

  • 9 11 soo sad x

  • I've already picked my favorite movie of the year! I cried when his mom explained her role in helping in his search. She says (something like), "Did you ever imagine for one second, of one minute, of one hour, that I would ever let you out of my sight?" I imagine God will tell us this when we meet him face to face. Great movie!

  • i dont know why but this movie made me cry so much. i actually broke down. i've cried over movies loads in the past, but this made me cry most. i guess it's just such a beautiful film with amazing actors which makes it so emotional i guess.

    worth the watch. :)

  • america is so funny, over dramatizing the death of 3000, despite their deeds.

  • aww 9/11 3000 americans died, what about the 1 000 000 plus Iraqis slaughtered because of it? what about the Afghani people killed? fuck you america

  • @1ghostronin i iwsh more people thought like you.

  • I'm Australian but 9/11 really made me sad. I wish I could of see the world trade center

  • This movie was so amazing. If you are hesitating to see this... GO! It's so wonderful and truly great. I cried through the whole thing.

  • Just came back from seeing this and it was an amazing film... I cried throughout the whole movie. I definitely recommend seeing it! People who are hating on it have no heart nor did they probably understand the movie. It's so good!

  • i seriously cried when i watched this movie.

  • Where the streets have no name.

  • you can watch the movie in my channel! the movie is awesome

  • @amberrobertsons err no its shit

  • VERY SAD MOVIE =(

  • I cried when i saw this movie

  • I absolutely loved this film. At first I thought I wouldn't enjoy but as it went on I got gripped and adored it, That kid is a brilliant actor

  • whew almost watched this...thank buhhda i didn't watch it!

  • The american government did 9/11 WTF, go see "Loose Change 2nd Edition" it contains undeniable proof and testimonies from Degreed & Licensed architectures and engineers that confirm it is IMPOSSIBLE that the Towers' metal structure melt. The fires in the towers were well below 800ºC while the melting point of iron is 1535ºC (2795ºF), steel, 1510ºC (2750ºF). 825ºC (1517ºF) - maximum temperature of hydrocarbon fires burning in the atmosphere without pressurization or pre-heating

  • just shut up

  • @sgm557 lol u ignorant piece of shit...a credit to ur species...

  • @xuphoriaa Could you maybe keep your twisted conspiracy theories to yourself?

  • @xuphoriaa The steel didnt have to melt for the towers to fall. The steel heated up and bent causing the entire structure to buckle. Ever rubbed a spoon until it got so hot you could bend it? It doesnt have to literally melt into a liquid for it to stop supporting thousands of tons of concrete. If it was an inside job how many thousands of ppl would of been in on it yet no one has come out? President Clinton couldnt even keep ONE chick who blew him to shut up. Wake up, youve been had.

  • @PHILIBOYLONDON what happened to building 7? and the pentagon looks like it had a hole made by a missile not a Boeing 757, also why dont they release the gas station footage near the pentagon , and when someone calls his mom during moments of distress, they use their last name? looks like u haven't taken physics or chemistry...go back to high school, and before you go any further, go see loose change's documentary on youtube its really eye opening

  • @xuphoriaa Er, how do you explain the tons of plane wreckage and plane engines on the Pentagon's lawns. Are you suggesting somebody put all this stuff there in broad daylight?

Never mind going back to High School, you should check into a mental hospital...

  • YOU have to be A COMPLETE BLIND MONKEY NOT TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BUILDING COLLAPSE, AND PERPETRATED INTENTIONAL DEMOLITIONS. Zoom in and you'll see the explosives. Oh did i mention the Twin Tower Security was Courtesy of Marvin Bush, and what happened to building 7?????

  • A tip for everyone who asks "what is that song that's playing...." - if the song has lyrics in it ,just type them in google ,and you have the name of the song

  • book >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> movie

  • Seriously hollywood name a move extremly loud and close

  • Terrribleeeeee moviee

  • guys the movie sux but what the song!!?

  • what is the name of the song they are playing at the end of the trailer.

  • @selena864 Where the Streets have no name by U2

  • @selena864

U2 - ''Where The Streets Have No Name''

  • This movie reminded me of the book "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time"

  • I hate all these negative comments for this movie . I saw it, loved it, and felt for it. No one understands 9/11 in here, and doesn't care for how many people who died on that day and just picture yourself as that little boy and they said he had a disease or autism thats why he sounds that way. Just picture yourself falling from that building and tell me you wouldn't feel for that

  • @evanaxel1 it is indeed a sad story. But I Just dont understand why the millions in Somalia with clearly more painful stories than you can tell are ignored.

  • Hate its really gay

  • It gay this movie but sad lol

  • I wonder how many of the people who keep trying to pass off this movie as pretentious, exploitative, or even propaganda have actually read the book it is based on or know much about the story past a 3 sentence synopsis? There's a level of depth that many here seem to have overlooked.

  • Why is it that every Hollywood movie child has to be EXTREMELY effeminate??? Tom Hanks is a Nazi and this movie is just playing off peoples emotions about 9/11.

  • @MiceCrispy Really crispy? Pray tell, how is Tom Hanks a Nazi?

  • One of the worst movies of the year

  • LMFAO for everyone who cry for this shit

  • im glad to see there are movies who's central message is something other than commericialism

  • THIS MOVIE WAS FUCKING TERRIBLE

  • i thought he had super power!!

  • 2 hours of life you will never ever get back - go and watch grass grow instead its more interesting

  • The direction in this movie is what made it above just another 911 movie. There were some very and interesting ways that they shot and edited certain scenes.

  • THis movie made me laugh when the kid asks the guy do you need a hug..

  • I loved this movie very sad. It made me cry saw it the day it came out. My sister laughed at me but it really touches the heart!

  • i didn't empathize with the kid at all

  • I saw this movie and I'm not gonna lie... it was soooo boring. But NO ONE can tell me the acting was bad. Sandra Bullock's performance was phenomenal! and the kid was very good too!

  • I saw this movie with my dad on the day b4 the super bowl

  • this movie is Extremely slow and Incredibly boring !!!!!!

  • PROPAGANDA BULLSHIT !!!!

  • I thought this would be a good movie because I saw the poster and it was Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock I mean HOW CAN THIS SUCK but then I saw what is really about and then I was like"Not even those actors can save a movie of this topic"

  • @redique hahahah yea

  • it would have been an ok movie if they hadnt involved the 9/11 tragedy...not cool...

  • @AngieChasinFireworks You must be kidding right? how many movies are based on wars and tragedy's such as this one? get a grip you arsehole.

  • @MrGameProductions it's a complete propaganda from the american film makers....they make all americans seem like heroes....i hate that sort of shit...and really there is no need to swear...

  • @MrGameProductions this is propaganda bullshit crap movies tipcal amercan feel good movie horrible !!!

  • @madeinheavenx I was just warning you so no need to get pissy alright.

  • Its not that this movie is bad, its just that it doesn't deserve the oscar nomination for best picture that DRIVE or The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo should have recieved.

  • The people who didn't like this movie have little to no imagination and/or don't have the brain power it takes to dig deeper into the story than what's being shown. There's a lot more to it than just this kid who's searching for a lock to a key and it's pretty obvious that those who are bagging on it can't seem to understand that. Go back to watching your videos about cats now, it's the only thing you'll ever be able to comprehend.

  • @madeinheavenx Could you enlighten me to what the movie is about? i havent seen it yet and it looks nice, and i like the fact it involves 9/11, it was a historical moment and deserves more light shed on the families that are having to live after losing someone in the 9/11 attacks. :) but please give me your version to what this movie is about? apart from a kid running around with a key etc, tell me your thoughts about what it meant for you ;)

  • @madeinheavenx Or maybe they just didn't like the movie.

  • @scream18775 No, you obviously haven't been reading the same comments I have. I don't remember asking you for your opinion, so... you can go now.

  • @madeinheavenx or making videos about nick lachey and jessica simpson... seriously? this movie was fine in the beginning with Tom Hanks but after he died and the kid was narrating it became fucking' obnoxious. his character is so weird, he gets away with everything and talks shit to everyone and complains about so much shit. hes just a whiney little brat.

LIE NUMBER #9 THIS MOVIE IS FUCKING AWESOME

  • Comment removed

  • @madeinheavenx That's absolute rubbish, Most films coming out of Hollywood are unfortunately vacuous and for the mentally retarded but this film is pretentious, emotional porn and shit boring. Get off your high horse.

  • @PHILIBOYLONDON Cool.

  • @madeinheavenx I don't remember asking for your opinion, but cool.

  • @madeinheavenx Well I think you encouraged an opinion by insinuating that I have little brain power because I didn't like the film ;-)

  • Best child actor ... ever.

    The movie was AMAZING.

  • propaganda....

  • Worst child actor ... ever.

    The movie was HORRIBLE.

  • THIS MOVIE IS NOT GOOD. Sure its emotional but its also a waste of money. Its only up for oscars because it has 9/11 depicted in it. I mean its not a bad movie, but its far from good.

  • @robhartjr1993 it was a gr4eat movie

  • just saw the movie got back 5 minutes ago 3 words: worst movie ever.

  • @1fosteraus But here you are watching the trailer for it. Good for you, but no one cares about your thoughts.

  • Who wanna c this shit lol

  • Is it bad??

Really? because I just saw the trailer and I was about to cry.

  • @galletasymalteada No; I literally just came back from the theater from seeing this, and no doubt this is literally the most powerful movie I've ever seen. The theater was more than decently half-packed, and it was literally a good four minutes after the credits started rolling that people started to get up and collect their things. All the people commenting on how much the movie 'sucked' are either trolls, or have never seen the movie. Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close is amazing.

  • @ItsFreakkynBree I guess they don't see the world in a different way.

  • Apparently many people haven't read the book--so you don't understand the movie.

  • I saw this movie and it was just sad. kinda funny when he cusses though

  • @MRSUPERFRYMESIDEWAYS What the hell? It was a good movie. Very decent.

  • The worst movie Ive seen in years. No plot, an annoying little boy that you almost wish he had died and not the dad... half of my movie theatre left halfway through and the other half wish we had. by the way what was up with the boy acting so ferry like and why was he dressed as a Ukranian orphan?

  • @flycentro123 DITTO! (Well said.)

  • the movie is coming out in italy at the end of february... thanks for your reviews... as usual good trailer=bad movie.

  • wtf is the taumborine for????

  • @girving12 to cope with his fathers death

  • Why do amerifags create movies like this? Create more original movies, you fucking retards.

  • @Ifuckyourshitup I'm not exactly patriotic, but this pisses me off. Americans pioneered film-making. We're the home of Hollywood! Creators of the first film in color! For the past half century, we've been making movies that the entire world wants to see! You say this film is a cliché? We INVENTED all of the clichés! You can call us racist. You can call us fat. You can call us stupid. But you cannot TOUCH the film industry in the United States. You just can't.

  • @thatblondguy33 And another thing. Don't say "fag" or "retards." That really fucking annoys me.

  • @thatblondguy33

    okey dokey bro

  • Comment removed

  • @thatblondguy33

Maybe I'm just as to overreacting because amerif- oops, americans think 9/11 is the worst disaster ever. I know some awesome hollywood movies out there. I just hate movies like this.

  • Loved the book. Just added this to the list of films I never want to see.

Way to strip any of the original soul from the original story and turn it into super Hollywood over emotional bullshit.

  • Movie looks terrible
