Directed @ FredSmith1980 ~Beth Orton is the new Joni Mitchell if you ask me...you might like Shelia Nicholls too...she has a similar candor and style of lyrical honesty.

Woohoo, checking an old Pandora profile list, and I saw her name. I couldn't remember this song, but I knew searching for a sec would locate it. Now I'll never lose this song again. Gonna buy it.
It is a strange video at first glance. Reminds me of past mistakes I and others have made, which I eventually corrected in myself. How I did that was trial and error, basically I would rather forgive someone instantly for a trivial mistake a couple of times, unless the abuse is constant, in which case, if everything physical is still in one piece, hit the road. Things don't really matter as much as staying intact. Don't give up and turn to intoxicating substances folks!
Like Tracy Thorn from Everything But The Girl, she just has this great Annie Lennox-style quality to change her look and adapt her sound at will to multiple styles.
Well, the sexiest song from the sexiest woman in rock and roll. I can't say much more that that, except that I like the album version better. I love Beth, and I feel her love coming back to me in her songs.
She doesn't get radio time because radio stations cater to retarded masses who love to hear crap spewing forth from the mouths of untalented, plastic pop/rap idol.
Man, I was driving through the middle of no where and came into range of a small Community College's public station one night; Isothermal CC I believe it was, and heard this song. They never did say anything about the singer or the name of the song. Before I lost the station I got the call letters and found them on the web. What a surprise to discover a play list so I was able to look this video up. Great sound. I hope she comes to the states near me soon.
Talk about old school ... I still conjure up snippets of lyrics from cassette tapes I recorded from the radio so many years ago (many of them a one-time grab of some rare song) and google them, hoping to find what I'm looking for on here. It's much harder with instrumental/electronic music!
On a side note: it's been years since I've listened to the radio on any consistent basis.

love the route 66 theme. Could even see our Bernalillo County New Mexico license plate on the car she drove away :)

Interesting remix but I prefer the original. Can anyone post that?

Talented lyricist, composer, and musician beyond the description of words. Plus, the fact that she is toooo sexy is the frosting on the cake.
5*
