bigger, faster, stronger? This program might make u a little bigger faster or stronger but not much. There is way too many fancy workouts and not enough substance to this plan. Give me one hour and i can show you a program that will make you twice as big, strong and fast as this expensive piece of crap program. For anyone thinking they have to do all these fancy workouts to get bigger, faster or stronger you are completly wrong. This is nonsense. There are some good workouts but program sucks
I really enjoyed the video clip. Talk about committed athletes to a sport, this is absolutely perfect. Nice work to whom ever has this program. How about opening shop in New England.
Looks like a great facility. And with my background I can say that the guys doing the depth jumps are getting faster and the guys doing the power/hanging cleans are getting stronger. Great video guys.
@Herner13 - sorry most people go away to school or their pro teams during their season and are successful so they cannot agree to a full year contract. most people arent lookign to these kind of facilities for a full year because they actually play competitively. BUDDY.
@Jhix88 But still. My point was that $1000 per month is no where close to what it actually is. On a monthly basis its still like 300/month max. Just don't want anybody to read your info and assume its too costly and then not think about going. I went there for 4 years and its pretty unreal.
@Herner13 i have the information in front of me. It's 1000/month and that's not even including the on ice. Prices have increased drastically at BTNL. if you do not believe me call up Dan yourself or e-mail him for prices. fuck i hate stupid people who think they know what they are talking about when i have the pricing information at my house.
@Jhix88 holy late response buddy, I didn't know this whole pricing thing was making you lose sleep at night. In the last month since these comments were made I have realized that it is pretty damn expensive for people to go to BTNL who are outside of Canada, and it could very well be $1000 per month. This is just sad that we actually argued on the internet, I am so ashamed. At the end of the day, BTNL is a great facility and who gives a fuck how expensive it is, everybody should go! :)
@Jhix88 Scratch what I just said it is only going to prompt a response from you. Lets just end this ridiculous argument right now. Can't we all just all get along lol. I know I am going to BTNL this summer and hopefully you and others can also. If not, good luck training for whatever you aspire to be.
@mrjonte2309 thats the hardest workout for your arms you can do... Shoulders, triceps, maybe a little biceps, back, lower and upper, forearms, and hands. Those ropes are massive...
I use the ropes in my training to train the cardiovascular system because it is very low impact and it will spike your heart rate in seconds. It does not look like much but trust me once you get those ropes going your heart rate will be through the roof before you even know it!
Training good athletes doesn't mean you have a good program. I see no one in this video getting stronger or faster.
Now I understand that being strong is not the most important thing in hockey but come on! If your athletes are only using 60 kilos for cleans, they're NOT ready for depth jumps!
Chain Pressing done with tiny ass chains bought from Lowes instead of Iron Woody or EFS, the overuse of plyos, that awful use of the sledgehammer.
Whomever is holding the camera hasn't got a damn clue.
Furthermore, High School Athletes don't need a fancy program. Teach them how to do a few things very well: like Squat, Bench, Lunge, Pull-up, Push-up. For weaker athletes use less intense Jump Training like Broad Jumps, Box Jumps, Vertical Jumps, Bounding, and Sprints. Leave depth jumps out of the picture.
ROFLMAO!!!!.....yet another ''Hockey Academy'' that has VERY little idea about REAL Speed, or Strength, and NOTHING about size.
