I believe we call the Heart the emotional center because the emotions travel from the lowest to the highest of the Chakras in the body, and our actions will be determined from the dominating level of consciousness where one allows his thoughts to dwell. Each Chakras has specific emotions attached to a particular Organ and the heart Chakras happens to be in the center.....

Several years ago when Sting released this song ,I saw an interview where talked about how most meaningful songs were always about the heart and he stated" I do not know why the heart is the emotional center, I think a learned person should have an answer for this question".

I Immediately had an answer from my own studies of the Qabalah and new age books but did not know how to send the info r=to Sting and still today do not know so I decided to post my opinion here.....

I first heard this song on a David Copperfield special. Ever since then, I wanted to find out what it was and when I found out that it was a Sting song, that made it even better. I love this song!!!!

Habe diesen Song vor ca. 9 Jahren im Fernsehen bei einer Show von David Copperfield gehört und war sofort völlig verzaubert! Leider kannte ich weder den Titel noch den/die Interpreten, und war somit jahrelang erfolglos auf der Suche nach diesem Lied. Heute saß ich dann in einem Restaurant im verregneten Wuppertal und traute meinen Ohren kaum als ich auf einmal die von mir so lang gesuchte und geliebte Melodie zu hören bekam.

Dank an die nette Bedienung, die mir den Titel verriet!!!! :-)

ich glaube den Titel kann man auch aus dem Song heraushören.

Er wiederholt in regelmäßigen Abständen "Straight to my heart".

Ich hätte dann so angefangen zu suchen. =)

Ja das stimmt, das Problem war nur dass ich den Song damals nur ein einziges Mal gehört habe und mich dann irgendwann auch nicht mehr an die Lyriks erinnern konnte, ich hatte nur noch vage die Meldodie des Refrains im Kopf und damals gab es ja sowas cooles wie youtube noch nicht. Sonst hast du natürlich recht :-)
