I love how much fighting games change after a few months. I haven't seen anyone use Thor in months and I rarely see Arthur being used lol. I wonder how good you've gotten now, DK... Will you be getting Ultimate Marvel??

The tiny knight you were fighting is Arthur from Ghouls n Goblins. I remember the blue axe from that game. :) It's a pretty fun game but it's fairly difficult. Also, Thor is probably a beast because he's an original Avenger member.

I always loved Phoenix from X-Men so it's cool to see her around but she probably has some kind of flaw somewhere in Dark Phoenix form.

I was watching this video and having not played mvc3, she was pretty good but i couldn't get my 5 level bars.

However i used Morrigan and i found her Hard button + launch up to the air, with Dante's jam session to be really hurtful.

i only played a phoenix/dark phoenix user once online (don't know why more people aren't using her). i rematched them 3 times, and lost every time to dark phoenix. her projectiles are pretty much impossible to escape at a certain point, and i was using spiderman, who can escape a lot of things with his web swing. yeah, phoenix is beastly, but almost too beastly. now in the hands of a professional? shiiiiiiit! I wouldn't be surprised if phoenix got banned from competition...

Phoenix or Dark Phoenix is a BIG NO against Sentinel. I suggest you spam healing shield to cut all attacks in half.

D.P is a great character, and it looks like you would be able to use her quite well.

However, like you said, it's just a fact of stalling to get 5 Supers before she dies. You have to be extremely careful of Snapbacks like you said.

Something to note is that Advancing Guard not only reduces damage to a fraction of the regular block, but it can be used more than once in succession. So if you start blocking a hyper move that does a sizable amount of 'chip' damage, try to time the guard with each hit.

X-factor gets stronger and lasts longer everytime one of your characters die. It increases your speed, defense and attack. So yeah, level 3 X-factored dark phoenix or sentinel = rape. Hell, level 3 x-factor anyone = rape

I think phoenix is pretty cheap, there isn't much of away to avoid dark phoenix unless the one using her uses her before she has 5 bars, also dante only has 900,000 health which is below average. anyways what do you think of tron, wesker and chris? I think tron and chris are pretty good, wesker is probaly one of the best in the game, he is almost always on my team

Pheonix does have the ability to be overpowered, especialy if the people are really new and just hit random buttons but if you actually know how to use her she would be the ultimate finishing character
