I'm glad he finally puts her in her place at 1:49, and she realizes that she's not perfect either. I don't know why but she so reminds me of Carol Burnett at 1:52-1:57, her eyes, her mouth. I think people tend to forget that despite having OCD, he is a very smart man, it's one of the movie's premises. The smartness has to come out sometimes.

sh's perfect on 1 thing cause she's says to her mom she has always a panic thing, but this panic thing is what nicholson excellently describes as a search to do things good & straight that is it's scruple in helen hunt & scruple is out of goodness
