I think its also to save time and additional costs such as preventing the shoot to go on another day. The amount of times the director has to repeat a scene to get it just right, will mean that they can have more takes in the same amount of normal time.
they sing it faster so that they can slow the footage down and it will look like its in slow motion but there mouths are singing at the right speed. yu kno? she does that alot in her videos.
I know its gives a good effect on the video, their mouths move at regular speed but their movements look slow. Can't wait to see it, it should be hit last time they worked together they made a #1 song so, cross your fingers!! Acutally I don't know if it would count as a #1 for MC.
LOL when they had to speed up. I've notived everytime when ppl shoot videos there's at one point they have to make the track goes fast. Just like when they did that on MTB4 when Day 26 was shooting there video for, "Since You've Been Gone".
