Kenny never tries to outwrestle people. Then he fights Penn and he COPIES GSP's gameplan. He never fights like that.

Then he fights Gray Maynard, and gets too scared of the takedown to do anything aggressive.

His fight against Sherk, he just got owned. Against Aldo? He just got owned. But I think in the other two fights, he crumbed due to pressure.

Despite what i hear people say, Florian did the right thing to Penn, if he'd thought any other way he'd have been punished on the feet. There is a reason he can fight differently against guys like Clay Guida, Gomi or Stevenson, because they aren't as good. Its not rocket Science. And Maynard just picked him up and layed on him, so he never had a chance to even do anything in that fight.

P4P is not about winning a couple impressive fights. It's about an extended showing of dominance/skill over various opponents.

Edgar has fought 2 ppl since 2009. Yeah, 4 fights but 2 ppl. Defeating BJ Penn and Gray Maynard do not put you at #2 IMO. GSP and Silva have damn near cleared out their divisions while displaying a level of skill/ skillset for an extended period of time. Fedor hadn't lost for 10 years.

My P4P list has three names based on ALL TIME. Silva, GSP, Fedor.

@GinGeeK Hes really good at his bread and butter, which is wrestling. The problem for Sonnen is that hes pretty one-dimensional. His striking is really mediocre backed up with little to no power, and there is his obvious lack of any jitz skills. What he does works for most guys in the division, but if he goes up against highly skilled fighters that are well-rounded, like a Silva or Belfort, or fighters who are world-class on the ground like Maia, his game is pretty much nullified.
