I once got a speeding ticket listening this tune. I was so into the song and didn't realize I was hauling ass. Right about the 3:39 min. mark, where the song starts to pick up, I guess I had floored it, and got nailed for going nearly 90 in a 55.
Couldn't agree more. I remember telling a hitchhiker I picked up to buy it. I went on and on and I'm sure by the time I was halfway through the was like, "Shut up about T&T" One of the best albums of all time. F'n easy.
honestly, "Travellers and Thieves" is my favorite single album of alltime. That is a big statement for someone to say,to pin-point that out amongst the many. The combination of unbelievable lyrics,musical complexity,harmonies,the strength of every song,each contribution of all 4 players etc= my fav. I have over 3000 hours of live music, 5000 studio albums,cds,tapes and this album is my "stuck on an island" album. sorry for babbling but pls GO BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
