so many great actors in this 2 year series.. they don't make them like that anymore for sure !!!! especially that handsome ghost and mrs. muir was beautiful... whar great chemistry ... thanks for posting,,,
This was fantastic! I love and miss the faces of these character actors we grew up with in the 60s and 70s, like Mabel Albertson and Herbert Voland. It's a nice tribute to GAMM, but an especially nice tribute and memorial to each of recognized actors whose names we might not remember, but whose beautiful faces we miss and will never forget. Thanks for your hard work.
I read your note below and just had to tell you that I was also a huge Brides fan, Bobby Sherman in particular. We're about the same age so, as you know, it was inescapable. ;) I'll have to check and see if you've done any on that show as well. Thanks again and keep them coming. Have a great holiday.
I'm afraid not -- I only have the first season of Brides and i think to do a good vid you need access to them all. But I also write GAMM fan fiction, and a character I invented to be Daniel Gregg's best friend is the image of Robert Brown!
Cool. As an adult, Robert Brown now appeals to me a bit more than Bobby. How times change. Jason Bolt's booming theatrical voice was very reminiscent of Mulhare. I could see the two of them being friends. ;)
Unfortunately Youtube didn't like my choice of music :( copyrights or something). as you can see by the credits on the vid, i had Jerry Orbach singing Try To Remember, from The Fantisks and Streisand's The Way We Were, but alas, what can you do? Thank you for the kind words!
@ghostfanX2 Well this is a great choice of music too. Whats the name of this tune? This sounds like a George Winston tune, is it? He is one of my favorites, very emotional piano he plays. thanks again for your uploads.
@ghostfanX2 In some ways I think an instrumental is better here, because you are looking and thinking of the past cast members through the yrs so all the attention is on what you are seeing, rather than thinking of the words or the voice of the singer. as this plays i think of which ones might have passed on by now and which episode they were in, what their lives were like, and so on. so good music choice...smile.
I am so GLAD I discovered these GAMM videos on YouTube. This was my FAVE show when I was 13. What a treat to get a glimpse of all the old guest stars, many not seen for such a long time!
Thanks so much for the fantastic trip into the happy times of my life!
Wonderful Mary! It's so great to see the names of some of those people. Even if they were only in the show for a few seconds. Beautiful tribute! You must have put a LOT of time into this one!
Excellent Mary! GAMM really had a lot of upcoming stars, well known stars, beloved character actors, and two great leads. You captured them all brillantly. Thanks!
Mary, this is wonderful, an amazing amount of work to be sure. I doubt there has ever been such a devoted fan. Thank you for all you do for GAMM and it's stars>

Wow - although I wasn't a GAMM fan per se, I enjoyed this video...How in the world did they fit in all of these character actors in just two seasons?
CaliforniaGuy888 3 years ago
@peachmoose, Very well put.
GAMM should have had a much longer run, its one of my favorites.
Well done tribute, beautiful but kinda sad music. Fitting though, as its an era long gone, which is sad, they don't make them like this anymore.

Actually, I don't know - it was just one of the ones offered by Youtube as one I can use when they made me change it.
And you're welcome! I appreciate the comments! :-)
