Oh and the uniforms....haven't you ever watched a military band perform a "sit-down" concert? They were formal uniforms which look like a marching band uniform. There is nothing wrong with black and white or the marching uniform. Tradition, financial influences, or preference do tend to impact the public school system.

I've seen the comments on here before, but its just being out of hand. Yes, there is room for improvement, but these students do not have the advantages of the standard band. The school system does not support the arts, so the elementary programs are not doing their job musically to assist the band program. This was on a concert three years ago. They are by far much better now. In fact, they just received a SUPERIOR RATING AT A REGIONAL STATE ADJUDICATION!
