All if not most of the demos of ANY game are free.

I've downloaded tons of demos through the PSN store free of charge.

do u unlock weapons or do oyu have everything from start ?

You unlock them by playing.

You can unlock some by finding all the hidden weapons or whatever it was in the single player mode.

By playing online you gain points for kills etc. and after enough points you go to the next rank, every few ranks you get a credit which you can use to unlock new weapons.

there are certain things that are better. the destruction, the fact u cant use the m16 with stopping power and own everyone. but cod4 is defintly a good game but the creaters made stupid mistakes like that.

i know what you mean. the designers put it in there so u cant expect people not to use it. wat im trying to say is they should have balanced it they made that gun way to powerful you shouldnt be able to kill somone with one burst. also calling people names doesnt make discusion any more productive.

sry, i just get rly annoyed when that topic comes up( even though i dont use th m16, lol, MP5 FOREVER!)

but i that gun IS balanced( i think the m4 is the easiest gun on the game) the m16 isnt automatic so it sucks at close range, the m4 on the other hand has the m16 accuracy(if you shoot in burst) and is full automatic. im not callin the m4 noobish, just statin a fact. I love all the guns so it dont matter to me.
