When the PL42AC locomotives were first delivered they were not compatible with any other cars except the Comet 1 and Comet IB cars. That problem has since been corrected.

yeah, but that's resolved, and yet instead of ex-CNJ units on the comet 1s, it's all the PL42ACs, which ruins the shot

I saw it one day doing a test run on the RVL just with one car, Comet IV cab 5025. Man it flew through Bound Brook!! (80 mph-ish)

I believe that was 4004 pushing a set of Comet Is.

the engine cant push that fast, it can cause the train to derail.
