That would be hilarious if the blind man is like "Gee, Thanks, but... that not where i wanted to go....And why do I care about that baby looking at a dog looking at chickens?"
Kultura wymaga, aby nigdy nie podchodzić do osoby niepełnosprawnej i krzycząc w biegu "pomogę panu/i" ciągnąc ją za ramię. Taka osoba czuje się zdezorientowana i przestraszona.
This is truly an enchanting scene. Perfection. And wonderful to read - below - that so many of you out there love it as much as I do. Meanwhile, I just read on another channel that the director said he based it on something he actually a saw in Paris - a girl like Amelie helping a blind man in the same way. So often we see something like this and we say to ourselves: beautiful..., - if only such things happened in really life. Well, they do.
I love it how the rising intensity of the music matches the scene and her increasingly rapid talking almost exactly, or was the scene matched to the music?
@Sihrtogg as far as i'm aware yann tiersen developed the musical score in tandem with the production of the film so yeah i think so - it matches perfectly either way
But we will not make it better by sitting in front of a computer. We type on keys to convey sayings we intend to be wise or kind but they mean nothing. Only when we chose to make real connections with people, like the one in this clip, can we make the world a better place.
We usually chose the alternative though because we are lazy.
This makes me feel so small, and so sad, and so sensible about other people in the world, this makes me feel helping lonely persons, sick, sad, and this really makes me feel I just wanna cry
although, im sureeee ive seen versions (like the one on film 4 tonight), where when the subtitles say that amelie has said, 'thats the florest laughing. he looks cheeky.'
is it just me thats noticed that? or am i completelyyyy imagining it.
This escene shows the real and one of basiclis funtion ot art, to show though our vision the world as we see it and close to what it is to somebody and make him happy in the best of the cases
This is probably one of the best scenes I have ever seen in a movie. Shows human compassion, joy and goodness at its purest best. This scene gets tears in my eyes almost every time.. Amelie ranks as one of the all time great movies. If a few more people in the world could be like Amelie, then the world would be such a beautiful place to live in..
This scene is so impressive, I always watch it in awe, what a great thing to do and what great actors, Audrey proves that troughout the entire movie and this old man...his expression is amazing, especially in the end.
Beautiful beautiful beautiful...and so is the music!!!
oh my god this scene gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME! The movie is truly a legend... well your video just made my day by reminding me how incredible life can be lol =D
This scene is one of those moments where the world just seems flawless, beautiful and amazing <3

C'est pour ce genre de films magnifiques qu'on peut être fier d'être français ^^ (en passant, l'accordéon pour paris c'est pas du tout kitsch xD)

i like the scene but i have no idea why it is fast forward? why can't it just be a normal speed
pinkdude24 2 years ago
because it's supposed to give the watcher of the movie the feeling that it's going all very fast and "new" for this blind man.

I lose some tears when I see this scene as I have a blind boy myself. I really hope to see everyone treating him as humanly and pleasantly as Amelie.

I loved the way at 0:29 Amelie just stares down the old man. It's like he's the unfortunate victim of her do-goodedness.
