i got mine in white, used for 1.500 €. Left and right fairings are scratched, the instrumental panel doesn't light up so i don't know how fast i'm going and how much fuel i've got at night and the back plastic where the licence plate is, isn't aligned with the back wheel. the handle bar is bend on the left side a little bit but i got that in the right position. great bike!
@Kattyleany Then maybe the XL125 Varadero? It's bigger than the CBF and probably more appropriate for countryside. Or if it's a real countryside then an enduro motorbike :)
From a UK perspective. I got the new 11 plate model two weeks ago which has a tachometer (rev counter) unlike the old model. Cost me £2150 new and does about 100 mpg. Not the most powerful bike in the 125 Market but has done 70 mph with me on it and I weigh 17 stone. Excellent for a learner or commuter alike.
Just wandering Does it respond fair enough on narrow mountain roads? Is there any difference between cbf125 and more powerfull bikes while traveling at 40mph on elevated road with lots of turns? What about cornering? Same feeling for a starter?

@MrShell311 i have tested bought, the cbr 125 is not as comfortable as te cbf, plsu to that, for a bigger person the cbr looks like a toy :P the cbf is bigger so it's better for a bigger person, like me :) cheers

i know.. i have an Nsr 125 this is a perfekt starter bike cheap fast and looks great but the new cbf is expensive for an 16 year old beginner, slow = may 120km/h ? and ugly i think..
@arlheinz OMFG! SERIOUSLY!? me TOO! I WANTED THAT BIKE TO BE MY FIRST but my dad sead it was too expensive and a bad bike to begin with so next year he's gonna buy me cbf 125 :( ... at least it's better than nothing :)
This video makes my flatmate cry!... the music doesn't work.. feels like a people carrier video or a scooter promo.. not highlighting the bike at all! nice editing work though! Though as he said.. it doe put the video to shame having the video as such!
its £2,000 buying straight up new, and the average 50-60mph, and its the best selling 125 this and last year so...yeah, i've just bought one and i'm waiting on gettin it =]
Anyone know what speedo drive from other honda bikes would fit the CLR125? the city fly wheel front wheel is 19inch, so should i only look at speedo drives from hondas with 19inch wheels? I cant find a CLR speedo drive anywhere!
I don't think that £2,020 (that's including DVLA registration, number plate and tax/road fund license) is bad. Doble Motorcycles are selling them for £45 a month on finance with something like a £290 deposit.
Ideal for someone like me who's just getting into the two-wheeler world. Admittedly, I'd love the Varadero 125, but it's a matter of pennies. Everyone has their own style though, right?
Honda reliability sure beats a £700 bike-in-a-box deal.
I dont like this bike, the front fork looks so tiny. Looks like the bike cant take any damage + it doesnt look good either. You can buy a aprilia rs 125r for the same price (used one)... I would rather do that :P
One thing i forgot to mention. If you want a bit more speed. then thats no problem. It got the old valve system. So it is an easy job to get more power out of the machine:P but after the test yesterday i dont feel like its needed. it does the job and with 11.2 NM it got more power then most of the other bikes
tested this bike yesterday. Nice sound. Your driving position is perfect. You dont have to lay dawn over the gas tank. I got the money for more excpencive bikes. but got problems with my back and need a good bike with a upright-driving position. And its more fun to drive this then other bikes. So getting this bike. i' hardly say that the aprilia is siper fast compared to the megelli or the yzf, however the aprilia sounds shite compared to both these other models, and the aprilia needs to be smothered in cotton wool, only the best oil etc, fairings and other parts are sooo expensive also

Well, In my country the speed limit is 120 kmh so this bike has enough speed to drive. Dont get me wrong, I like powerful bikes but choosing it because the top speed is high maybe is not a good reason, just my opinion
I got my CBF125 (Silver) in January and I think its a brilliant machine for the money. I paid £1500 for it brand new. Does a genuine 75mph on the flat with no head wind and feels like a proper bike to ride. Tried a CBR125 but it disappeared up my arse crack - just too small for normal sized people and shit loads more money! First service just done at a bank breaking £15.

if you pay £2,020 your getting ripped off
davidm898 2 years ago
On the honda website it says it costs 2020 pounds, how come your dealer is selling for less than that?
YoshuaRider 2 years ago
Thats because i never realised the price has went up within this month. It is most likely that the £1,895 was an introductory offer
davidm898 2 years ago
oh rite. Its not really a rip off then, its just because honda increased the price.
YoshuaRider 2 years ago

I am just sitting around waiting to sign the contract for my CBF. Going to buy it in black though i think..
I totally agree with the CBR feeling small, Im 183 cm, and the CBR just doesn't feel right.. The CBF on the other hand feels like a larger bike..
The coolest thing to put on the CBF is the engine cover, it's so incredibly sweet.
looking forward to ride my CBF.. ALOT!
