@xC0rUpTiOn oh yea... messing with the host files are not fun, but i know how to do them... its a pain in the ass its very hard to explain the hosts files in writing, much easier just to be there in person... well sorry i couldn't help you jailbreak on 4.2.8, but there is a Tethered jailbreak out for iOS 5.0.1 if you are at all interested.

I think apple makes it now so you HAVE to upgrade when you restore to avoid jailbreaking. i guess i have to just wait until 4.2.10 gets untethered
