  • I swear the picture moves

  • Sie sind ein dummer stummer kleiner junge, der Briten aus kleinen schwuctel sind Deutsche.Piss glaubt und saugen Sie Ihre koniginnen dick.

  • 25 second song Uau!

  • Is it in gaelic?

  • @ThorABC

    i suppose it's welsh

  • @SimSimmus You are correct to an extent, The great majority of the gene pool is Celtic but the Anglo-Saxons certainly make up a greater percentage than any other invading people. They colonised to a much greater extent than the Vikings and the Normans and Romans did little more than instate a few new rulers.

As for a mod I would certainly recommend looking up The Last Kingdom. It's only north Europe I'm afraid but it does have 4 celtic factions and it's the best mod I've played.

  • Amazing! I have full version of this song from Seadogs 2, but I can't find lyrics or any information about singer.

  • Im Norman :S

  • I never fought a 25 second video could make me cry... how beautifull.

  • I Love the Celtic Tears out of them All I've been most succesful with Wales and Ireland but When I enter war against each other I get screwed

  • It's good to be Scottish/Irish :D

  • It's a shame that these beautiful songs always have the same disgusting and idealistic comments along with them.

  • I really want this song...I can't find...please.. if somebody could help me..

  • Isn't this a clip from a much larger piece? A celtic piece perhaps?

Anyone know a name for the larger piece?

I think it is a bit faster than this, a speeded up version

  • Should of put ranged units on that mountain with secuirty!

  • hey mate...do you know how i could download this song? would really appreciate if you could help

  • @arunmn77 search google for "download youtube mp3", then just copy the video link and you can save the song in mp3 format =).

  • @TotalWarEra Cheers Mate!!! ur a champ...

  • @TotalWarEra can i find this ?i mean the whole song?

  • @arunmn77 Use Youtube downloader :)

I can send the song to you if you want?

  • england occupied by scandinavian barbarians why didnt they leave the saxons alone?

  • translations anyone?

  • C'est triste :'(

  • This song makes cry

  • From 0:00-0:05 it sounds like the same words and tune as this at 2:45

    /watch?v=AtcMGqlNFJc

  • @peterstmcdonnell its not the same, might be same singer but not the same.. the one you linked sounds like a remix where some amateur dj just put something alot like this and something totally different together without it sounded that proffesionnal..

  • Reminds a bit the diplomacy theme for Celts in Civilization 4

  • If Normans didn't succed to invade England in 1066, there would have been no 100 years war and no repression of Wales, Scotland and Ireland. Saxons would still exist and their poetry and art would be a lot more known, same for Celtic culture.

  • @LineaGotica91 There would be other wars. Who are you kidding.

  • @Pseudologic Yeah, but it's worth speculation. As a descendant of both Welsh and Normans, I often wonder how things could be different.

But it hardly matters now. There is merit in honoring the Celtic nations traditions and culture, as I do, and there is merit in a United Kingdom, of all the people of Britain.

  • @Pseudologic I wasn't talking about war and peace, indeed.

  • @LineaGotica91

Saxon's still exist, the Anglo-Saxon's still make up the vast majority of English people. The Norman's merely replaced our ruling class, just look at David Cameron and his cronies. They are Norman by either blood or custom!

  • @BritonAgainstIslam or both

  • @jakeshortj

    Indeed.

  • @BritonAgainstIslam Is it said that most of us are diffirent because all of the people that invaded us, Normans, Saxons, Vikings, thats why were all diffirent, and got diffirent accents, diffirent looks and so on. I for myself have llong brown hair, lots of body hair, think eyebrows and a big nose, i'd say my ancestors were viking. of some sort.. I find it really intresting tbh.

  • @BritonAgainstIslam haha im not an Anglo Saxon!

  • @itsmattymattymatty

Of course not, we can't all be lucky can we now?

  • @BritonAgainstIslam i aint rich if thats what your trying to say

  • @BritonAgainstIslam genetically the saxons only make up about 20% of avg english person at best....still mainly DNA similar to basque/celtic first settlers (confusing as celts not a race just a slow cultural evolution)

  • @3tangle3

That's nonsense, modern genetic testing has revealed the English to be near identical to those subjects tested in the Netherlands and Denmark.

  • @BritonAgainstIslam no it isnt what are your qualifications? I have 5 years university research from the University of York genetics dept

  • @3tangle3

    I have common sense.

  • @BritonAgainstIslam common sense usually turns out to be dead wrong on things like that.

  • @BritonAgainstIslam Actually, according to Oxford University, in 2005 they made a genetic test to know more or less the composition of the ethnics in England, Wales and Scotland. In England alone, the English are 64% of Celtic descent...Do you expected that over 2 million anlo saxons would migrate to England in the Dark ages?

  • @asturiangoblin

A study I'm well aware of, a study that used unreliable methods and came from a biased and politically motivated group of people.

  • @BritonAgainstIslam You my friend, are a dumbass.

  • @RSV2GLITCHGUY

Coming from the person who makes comments on his own page that reflect the intellectual value of a cockroach "jerking al nite" . . . You're not worth the oxygen you use.

  • @BritonAgainstIslam This is actually my brothers page i just hacked into it. Im alot smarter he is. He is a Retarded fool much like your Dumb faggot ass.

  • @RSV2GLITCHGUY

Then there's not a working brain cell between you.

  • @BritonAgainstIslam hifhvfhbbfbfgbgbgbbbgowaplfn

  • @BritonAgainstIslam THE GERMANIC BARBARIANS HORDES ARE SIBERIA.

  • @LineaGotica91

As if the Saxons were that peaceful. History is written in blood, it's unfortunate, but that's the way it is.

  • @LineaGotica91 The Saxons prior to 1066 made quite a point of messing up the Welsh. They would always fund and support Welsh civil wars to ensure that none of the princes could unite the country to become a threat to England. In English society Celts were second class citizens.

However, they were still better than the Normans. They treated their poor fairly and their government was almost approaching democracy. They had no hereditary rule, Kings were elected.

  • @LineaGotica91 Sure, but then we wouldn't have Braveheart.

(and yes, I know that movie is terribly inaccurate)

  • @4104jake you're telling me :P

  • @LineaGotica91 But you would not be speaking English, and not be in a developed country.

  • @LineaGotica91 well, you wouldnt have any germanic in yer language if it were not for the norwegian

  • @LineaGotica91 so its the french's fault?

  • @LineaGotica91 If, if, if.. it's too late. tehy did - but now we have to make sure that these cultures do not vanish, because now it is our job to do something - for example learn the languages and use them. pass them on etc and MAKE them known once again.

Dysgu Cymraeg, Gwyddeleg neu Lydaweg a siarad yr ieithoedd pob dydd yn y gwledydd! Dysgwr o'r Almaen dw i. Dymuniadau gorau i'r dysgwyr a siaradwyr yr ieithoed celtaidd ar y byd mawr!

  • @Valvallaria I would love to learn Gàidhlig! My English teacher is, ironically, Irish and he sometimes speaks in Gaeilge or uses the Irish name of certain Irish towns/cities.

  • @angryboy2k9 Then do it. I've taught Lowgerman to myself as well. Might not yet be 100 %ly perfect, but people can understand what I'm saying - and the rest comes with practice.

  • @Valvallaria Hmm. Nobody I know speaks Gaidhlig... Let me rephrase that, nobody I know speaks any language other than English, except my english teacher who, as I said, occasionally speaks Gaeilge. It does seem quite pointless, unless I lived in Scotland, but the accents are so thick there its hard for me to understand them in english, and I AM Scottish!

  • @angryboy2k9 Well, almost nobody here speaks Lowgerman either, yet I've learned it.I taught it to myself, without having anyone to speak here really. Maybe not perfectly with any dialect and whatnot but it is lowgerman AND people can understand it. In addition: Dialects are toally overrated anyway. No dialectical speaker in teh real world can claim that HE/SHE him/herself does speak a perfect dialect - because they don't. Fact. There is no real 'totally correct' way to say something.

  • @angryboy2k9 I only occasionally run into somebody who does speak it - and they are very surprised that a young person actually can speak the language to such an extent - and that while he did not grow up with it - AND taught it to himself. Honestly, it is just a matter of dedication and courage to try to speak it with people if you can. Trust me, that isn't so hard as it might sound. of coruse its easier in a surrounding, speakign that language, but it is possible.

  • @Valvallaria Hmm. I guess you got a point. Randomly saying Gaidhlig phrases may spark peoples interest XD I greet people in Japanese but know little of the language, only the words Hello, Goodbye and Thank you, and how to say stuff like brother, sister, friend and the like (Kun, Chan, San)

  • @angryboy2k9 Honestly? Don't waste too much time thinking or learning phrases like "how are you" and so on. Just don't - that won't help you. you may learn to say a sentence but you don't learn the language that way. You don't learn anything but ... well the sentences. Focus on using the words - without writing anything down. That again will slow your learningprocess down - A LOT! If you know a little about the language, form new sentences with new words in your head instead.

  • @angryboy2k9 I know - that sounds sooo complicated now, but trust me - once you get the hang, it isn't really. Speak the sentences out loudly - for example to yourself etc. Form new ones every day and SPEAK (!) it. It doesn't matter wether you do it to yourself or others. Most people just learn some sentences - and the nwonder why they can't use the language... well, how should that be possible in teh first place, if you've never learned to use the words in the first place?

  • @Valvallaria Heh I guess your right! I try forming sentences with what words I know, but I don't know many... So you suggest I just learn as many words as I can on their own and then form them as I go along?

  • @angryboy2k9 Well, yes and no. It's a bit more complicated than this. I used many Lowgerman podcasts etc to learn new words - I just picked them out of the context and could figure out how tehy are used. As an example: You have a sentence and you pick you the word (ik) vertell (Lowgemran - I tell) You directly know multiple things: 1.) the "I"-form, and possibly the infinitve - if they follow a rule (vertellen). You have to disect the language in your head. (1)

  • @Valvallaria (2) By doing that you'll form your own rules in your head - which is more valuable than any written rule in any book. Might not be correct in the beginning, but you will refine these rules as you go. A start might be a good thing to get some information how do form the verbs, but don't just learn the rules - you need to get them into your feeling, not your head, otherwise you'll end up remembering the rules, not the forms. If you want we could try to learn some irish together.

  • @Valvallaria I see. So its pick the words out from what you know, but make sure they fit the context? Like if there were three different words for, I don't know, "Bill", I would have to choose between; the name, a payment bill and something else? I guess if you were speaking to someone who was fluent in both languages, they could tell what you meant though, right?

  • @angryboy2k9 Not really, you learn by listening and trying to use the words you've "reconstructed" from what you've heard. Hard to explain in a few words. You mostly have to listen carefully HOW and what they say it and then use that what you have heard in new sentences. As an example: I've picked out "vertell(en)" - then you create new stentences with that new word and teh words you already know:

"Ik vertell di wat ik wüll", "Ik vertell du woso du ut't Huus geihst" and so on

  • @Valvallaria I see. Sounds simple enough if I knew people who spoke Gaidilg :)

  • @angryboy2k9 Don't have to be real people. That's the beauty oft eh internet. You know: gaelige recordings etc and whatnot.

  • @Valvallaria Fair enough XD So like a chatroom then?

  • @angryboy2k9 Sounds like you two have an interesting language exchange going on. Care to tell more?

  • @LineaGotica91 And england wouldn't have ruled the world either.

  • Nice emote... are you a retard or a troll?

  • youre forgetting the normans ? xD

  • england were to clets until the romans changed there culture but were still quite celtic

  • The Saxons saw to that. Ethnic cleansing is a bitch.

  • Yea, then the saxon/english saw to linguicide in scotland with heavy fighting and now immigration, their job is almost complete xd.

  • Im not sure about that. the UK is run by Scots :P

  • UK is run by English.

  • UK shouldn't even exist. It's a pseudo-empire where the English oppress Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

  • Haha, fuck off

  • Amazing answer. George Byron wouldn't have found more elegant and exhaustive words.

  • Well, the English are the only ones without their own parliament or assembly.

    Waes hael.

  • People in Belfast don't want their own parliament. They want freedom and reunion with Ireland.

  • @LineaGotica91 No you are wrong. Over 50% of Belfast still support remaining within the Union. The Republic of Ireland's economy might very well go the way of Greece and possibly Portugal, so this statistic could even rise.

If the majority were in favour of reunification then it should absolutely happen, but the fact is, at the current time at least, it is not.

The majority of Northern Italians support a free Padania. See? Making up stats is easy!

  • They want to stay with England either because they feel English-Protestant themselves or merely for economic reason. Those who feel Irish just want a single Irish nation, the proof is 80 years of civil disorder in Belfast. You're probably not italian, if you were you would know that very few people believe in the existance of Padania, which is more or less an imaginary state invented by politicians.

  • @LineaGotica91

UK=/= England.hey want to stay with the UK. There are people on both sides of the issue. There have always been Catholic Unionists and Protestant Republicans (e.g. Wolfe Tone). If you have been to Belfast in recent years you will know that the atmosphere isn't as heavy today and that most people just desire peace.

No, I am not Italian. I was attempting to show you what it's like to make sweeping assumptions about the feelings of a whole percentage of the populace.

  • UK is England just as Roman Empire was Rome. Of course the common people don't want the unrest and tension of the past decades, but this would apply to any people. There's a reason Bobby Sands died of starving.

  • @LineaGotica91

Please don't go making all them comments until you have patrolled the streets of Belfast yourself and come under attack, the UNITED KINGDOM

Is what we are... we may be English,Scottish,Welsh and Northern Irish.. but we are British and subsequently we have already won the lottery of life.

  • @BadassRocknRoller Whatever...

  • Haha xD

  • What, like the Gaelic Scots did to the Picts?

You'll actually find most English people aren't too genetically dissimilar to the Welsh or Cornish; the Celts weren't driven out or slaughtered, they simply got absorbed into the growing Anglo-Saxon kingdoms.

  • The Gaelic Scots actually had a pretty stable relationship with the Picts after Dal Riata was subjugated into the Pictish nation - around the 700's. Since that time the gradual Gaelicisation of Pictish kingdoms was a purely cultural affair, and very gradual.

A major study of the UK's DNA in 2002 found that English participants had a significantly different genetic make up (mostly comparable with continental Europeans) compared to Welsh participants. This gives weight to Beades accounts.

  • Hmmm, I'd heard differently...might need to read up on it sometime or ask my Anglo-Saxon studies seminar leader.

In any case, I personally find it hard to believe that the whole Romano-British population was wiped or driven out during the Anglo-Saxon invasion. That would have required co-ordination and manpower that would simply have been unavailable at the time; assimilation and conquest (over the course of several generations) is far more likely.

  • Actually, the study suggests;

"between 50% and 100% of the indigenous population of what was to become England was wiped out"

I shall send you a link to the article, unfortunately you cant post links on youtube comments.

It is an interesting period, since we know very little of it, but I think using this DNA evidence makes it harder to dismiss primary sources of the time, and get a reasonable idea that something horrendous happened to the 'indigenous' people living in England.

  • Huh, well that is food for thought.

  • @Minotaurosu123 You know, you're right, and because of this, Celtic nationalists have very little ground to stand on, because there isn't even a language difference anymore, let alone a genetic one.

  • Long live the Celtic nations forever!!

  • Enchanted.

  • very nice music ^^
