  • the bible says believe in god with all your heart and treat your neighbor as yourself and you will go to heaven. and no sin warrants death but one. and thats blaspheming the holy spirit. therefore i do believe they go to heaven.

  • I am bipolar.. and struggle w/ this. Most bipolar people do.. I have been told that bipolar people are actually full of demons and such- and people like this are just being sucked in by the "smoking pits." This leaves people like me in worse despair- I think. I don't have the answers-- but thank you for this. I had a friend who was terribly depressed and took her life. She was raised in the Catholic church and not placed in the church cemetery..

  • God does not tempt anyone to sin but freely allows them to sin because of free will.Sin is Sin even though thou shalt not murder could be consider a greater sin than some others. However we don't go to Hell because people consider suicide a greater sin than others.Gods eyes, sin is sin,no matter how miniscule it is.Must be totally pure and Holy to enter God's presence by the washing away of it in Christ Jesus. So to say one is condemned to hell because one committed suicide is a serious assumption

  • Can a person repent and become born again(saved) a child of God and still get to a point in their life where they actually commit suicide because of the stress they're under?.I know that murder , to kill is not the unpardonable sin because all sin is evil in the eyes of God.Only by blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, rejecting God,not wanting God is the unforgivable sin.One who would rather go to Hell than be in God's presence. It does not specifically say suicide is the unpardonale sin.Leave it at that

  • no murderer shall go to heaven.....not even one.

  • @danielefsot What about Apostle Paul? He murdered many and he went to heaven.

  • @devilslayer2011 context context context...everything we do and say in life is all in context....now you are aware that the topic in this forum is "What Happens to Christians Who Commit Suicide? " ....so my answer to this is that if one murders oneself then that one is a murderer and no murderer will go to heaven...but if one is a murderer and repents then thats different but one committing suicide has no chance to repent and therefore dies a murderer and therfore does not go to heaven but hell

  • @danielefsot Murder means kill someone against their will...you cant kill yourself against your will...suicide means "self kill", literally what it means like homo - cide means killing another human, infant - icide means killing an infant etc. suicide means killing self, not murdering self, since thats not even possible and is a logical contradiction.

  • @devilslayer2011 ... to kill someone including oneself....are we playing with words here, would it have been better if I was more clear and said if anyone kills anyone or oneself without repenting then that one cant go to heaven...especially those who kill themselves because for sure they have no chance to repent.....I'll have to look up word murder in dictionary to see if you are using it right but the thought is that you can not kill yourself and go to heaven.

  • @danielefsot did you WATCH hank's video at least?

  • @kristinloveschevys no i did not...dont have to because the answer is too clear

  • @danielefsot it's obvious you don;t have the answer and that you did not watch the video because had you done so you would have had the same answer as Hank, who uses scriptural doctrine to give a response

  • @TheTruthseeker707 Do you know why blasphemy is not forgiven? Blasphemy is denying the Christ. If you are indeed a follower and believer in Christ the Savior, it would not be in your nature to blaspheme. Only non-believers will blaspheme, and go to Hell. Cheers

  • This is a very interesting video and to someone who doesnt know what the scripture say it makes perfect sense. But he is forgetting one very very important point. Every sin is forgiven except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit but only and only if the sinner asks for forgivess. If a person kills him or herself, that person can NOT ask for forgiveness since he or she is dead. God cant forgive a sinner who doesnt plan to sin. But someone who plans to sin, God CANT forgive. Since the sin is planned

  • @TheTruthseeker707 but it dont it.

  • @TheTruthseeker707 The only thing I can rationalize, in what little I do know about apologetics is the only true unforgivable sin mentioned in the bible I know of is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Whether that entails suicide ,I just don't know and won't say, or conjure up a humanistic opinion on something so serious. What I do know is once you've repented and r saved! your past, present and future sins r forgiven.Great men wanted God to take their life or wished they were not born under stress.

  • Try cherishing life when being in chronic pain day in day out for the next 30 years of your life.

  • I agree with Hanegraff, but I might add that no one in scripture, with perhaps Samson as an exception, was in a right state with God when they committed suicide. Therefore, let us help those in need while we can, before the decision is made.

  • Interesting..for many years have researched this question, many many different pros, laymen regular people preachers you name it BUT have never heard of anyone addressing the very ill and or in unnbearable pain who don't have hope of natural death and aren't being healed as prayed for. Suffering that is not be bearable to someone who has not suffered so can't possibly be described. Still I wait for an answer to this..when in such dire pain and suffering is one expected to go on?

  • You are very correct. When you try to commit suicide, you are not in your normal state - let´s say that you don´t know what you are doing at the moment. Ony very desperate people try to do that.

  • The Bible talks about renewing your mind and to pray your not given to unclean spirits...so i dont see Hank's reasoning or logic coming from the Bible...It doesnt say people who commit suicide cant go to Heaven, but it doesnt say they will either...Suicide is murder..and we know murderes and theives wont enherit the kingdom of God....

  • @razorpayne13 That is not true. King David murdered and he is in heaven according to the bible. The bible also states that in God's eyes no sin is greater than the other. With that said, if you sin and are killed in a car crash are you going to heaven ? Even as sick as Charles Manson is , he can still except Christ as his savior and go to heaven.

  • @MoonOvertake I agree with your last statement. lets use scripture to tell us if its right or not. Kind David didnt go unpunished. In the book of Kings i believe God tells his the sword and his house would never depart and he also asked forgiveness. Look at the book of Psalms....its full of repent and him asking God to help and restore him...My point is if u kill yourself u are not alive to ask forgiveness...killing yourself is like telling God u cant help me and im talking it in my own hands.

  • Man, does it really need to take all that pussy-footing to answer the question. No, it doesn't. A so-called answer man needs to be WAAAAAAY more confident than that.

  • I got hurt real bad at work over 2 1/2 years ago. I beacame a born again Christian 2 years ago. Im really sick and in pain all the time. I throw up every day and walk with a cane at the age of 34. I wont ever see 40 in this life. I thought about killing myself to end the pain and sickness that I am in but.... I read the Bible front to back and feel that the Body is the Holy Temple that God created so I put down my gun and didnt do it. ... I just cant risk the chance, I want to go to Heaven.

  • @Mr517519 Give the Lord a little more time he will come soon.

  • What happens is you are sent to a town call Glie. This town is a very simple and modest town where you will live as a child with many other humans working with them and living with them. You are considered very special: you will grow your own wings and will be given a halo to wear. These children are also guided by angels who wear masks in a consortium called the Charcoal Feather Federation. When your heart and wings have grown and you are ready, you will fly to Heaven on your Day of Flight.

  • Hank preaches the "skin of the Truth stuffed with lies."

  • Rev.21:3 (1st century original audience relevance) Now the kingdom of God is with men.

The end times/ last days occurred in the 1st century, just as Jesus promised in Scripture. Matt.24 Luke 21 and many more chapters.

  • If you commit murder and then repent, you will be forgiven, but if you kill yourself, you deny that Jesus is more than enough for whatever problem you have, and you commited murder. you cannot repent while dead so yes, the answer is hell. Stop beating around the bush. You know this hank but you don't want to add to their grief but be honest with them so others don't think that suicide is the only to escape the pain in this life. Jesus is more than enough. If u were killed then it is different.

  • @chuckyoo It's okay to commit suicide and also to risk your life at times. Because if you can't even have the freedom to risk your life then living life becomes boring and dull. God has alot of backup plans you needn't concern yourself with that will help lost children get to Heaven in case they lose their way. One of them I mentioned below, but having hope means knowing the path to Heaven has many towns along the way. And God has a town prepared just for you, even if you wish to end your life.

  • @muyo613

If it is okay to commit suicide, why are you still here. Don't be silly, suicide is murder, and murder is sin and sin is punished by God and the punishment is eternal seperation from God. You spoke like a true demon possessed person. If you encourage others to take their life, their blood will be on your head.

  • @chuckyoo You are asking TOO much. People will take their life, not even God nor His angels can stop it. It happens everyday. If They could then that would completely inhibit personal freewill of the individual. All God and His angels have the power to do is offer them the hope of a better future. That's our job, to offer hopeless people hope. If you had real pratical "faith" and truly believe, then offer hope to those who will commit suicide regardless of the sins they commit.

  • @chuckyoo [p.2] "If it is okay to commit suicide, why are you still here."

If you take your faith seriously, what would *possess* such a person to say such a thing? It's a far greater sin to wish suicide on a person, than for that person to actually take their own life. Many people cannot control it and are mentally ill, perhaps God should punish all the insane? No. God is hope.

  • @muyo613

I made that comment because commented and encouraging suicide so I asked the question why are you still here. As a christian, we are to let the world know the truth about suicide. You should not encourage suicide because it is MURDER! Jesus is their hope and what good are you if you claim to have a relationship with Jesus and yet not provide that blessed Hope opportunity for them. Suicide is caused by the works of demons that we allow to take over our mind or thoughts. Be honest!

  • @chuckyoo If suicide is murder then Jesus Christ committed suicide because He was the avatar of a God that was completely capable of saving Himself.

I encourage people to commit suicide if they wish. Because if you truly believe in Paradise, then a few moments of pain will outlast an eternity of Fellowship. God bless.

  • @muyo613 Ya but if he saved him self we would go to hell for ever.

  • @truckstopcowboy There once was a girl named Melissa. She she was a very sick teenage girl who had a terminal illness. While watching TV one day a man told her that if she sent him a $1000, she would be cured of her illness. She made the promise and a year she paid off her debt and yet she got more sick. She called the man up, and the man told her it was her fault for having secret sin in her life. She went into her backyard, poured gasoline on herself, and set herself on fire. Is she in hell?

  • @muyo613 Melissa was a victim of psychological manipulation by the vile man who took - stole - her money. She was actually, in effect, 'murdered' by the fraudster, even though she took her own life. It is my opinion that the fraudster is certainly on the road to hell, as he is clearly an enemy of the love of God. Melissa was a victim of evil, in much the same way that Jesus Himself was a victim when He was crucified. God is on the side of the oppressed, so Melissa is most certainly NOT in hell.

  • @The1066Al The truth is god doesn't exist. Jesus Christ is nothing more than a means to steal the money from hopeless people. There has never been a greater evil or offense to mankind than the name of Jesus Christ.

Melissa isn't in hell, and she isn't in heaven either. The last thing she felt was the chemical burning agony and suffocating to death as her lungs were destroyed due to asphyxiation. All because she felt that her only hope was to burn herself to get right with God.

  • @muyo613 I can see from your response that you seem to think that if something is abused that means that it cannot be true. Isn't it strange how atheists NEVER use that same argument when it concerns people like Stalin or Mao, who destroyed millions of lives in the name of atheism. I think that's called double standards - even hypocrisy. I am a Christian and I certainly have no desire to steal people's money! In fact my anger against these fraudsters is probably greater than yours.

  • @The1066Al I have no problem with what you said. Stalin and Mao were atheists and atheism is inherently evil in nature. That's because humans are evil in nature.

However, let me assure you of one unequivocal fact: no evidence for a god exists. That's not in dispute. Think for a moment. If that's true then that means you are a victim of that system. You are not the arbiter of evil, but you are complicit in it. Be careful, the geese was caught with the crows for stealing the farmer's crops.

  • @muyo613 wrote: "...let me assure you of one unequivocal fact: no evidence for a god exists. That's not in dispute."

Well I can assure you that that claim is very much in dispute. I, for one, totally disagree with this conclusion. Of course, it depends how you define 'evidence'. Some people limit 'evidence' to 'empirical evidence', but the scientific method is limited and cannot validate itself. Science tells us nothing about values, purpose, meaning or even the concept of 'truth' itself.

  • @The1066Al Fine, I agree. Science leads us astray from values, purpose, meaning, or any concept of ethical or moral truths outside of empirical evidence. But then you must be implying that you have a greater truth than myself. I have to ask you a very important question then:

Based on God's wisdom, what you would have said to Melissa to save her sanity?

  • @muyo613 I know what it is like to be viciously psychologically manipulated by 'Christians' who deliberately play on feelings of guilt and fear. I would certainly have been able to give Melissa advice, but, judging by your views, I doubt it would mean much to you. I would talk about something called the 'grace of God'. I would explain how God properly convicts us of 'sin' - NOT by encouraging legalistic introspection - and I would explain about how certain fraudsters operate in the church.

  • @The1066Al She chose fire because she was convicted. Fire burns impurities for a desperate 14 year old whose illness has only gotten worse after a year of giving $1000 to a televangelist.

I would have done differently than you. I would have said I'm a pretty sinful person too and then offered to burn myself with her if that would be ok. Two reasons: 1) An atheist doesn't require a heavenly reward to experience the joy of selflessness. 2) It's immoral to convince a suicidal person to stop.

  • @muyo613 You first loser as the devil has his pitchfork ready to stick in your butt.

  • @pepjrp I would kiss the devil on the cheek and protect him from any spears Christ would throw at him. And I would do the same for Jesus. Because that's what love is. I am greater than your god.

  • I think he is correct. I don't think you should want to kill yourself if you are a christian because God gave you this life to live to the fullest and we should live it like he gave it to us. No matter how hard life gets, trust that God will help you get through it no matter what. Nothing is to hard for God to handle!

  • Those who want Christian suicidal cases to end in hell, why don't you ask God to share His love through you to those who are confused, depressed and suicidal

  • jacksmack77, murder is a sin that requires judgement is not repented of. The is no provision afeter you die. That issue is covered to be dealt with

    now. Sorry you are confused

  • Romans 8:38-39. John 11:26. They go to heaven!

  • YOU GO TO HELL......

  • Comment removed

  • you twisting scriptures. once you die then the judgement. the bible is absolutey 100% clear. what part do you not accept? where is there time or ability to repent? there is no ability to after life else the scriptures would clearly address it so yet do not because the proper understanding is No afterlife repentance is available. your logic is heretical.sorry you think the way you do. killing is murder, murder is sin, sin seperates ppl from God for eternity if not repented BEFORE you die Got it?

  • @zobcity01 ... the repentance that has to be recieved before you die is Eternal repentance by accepting Christ as your Lord and Savior. Any sin comitted after one is saved cannot undo salvation according to John 10:28. Just as salvation cannot be obtained by works ("...lest any man should boast") Eph 2:9 , salvation cannot be lost through 'works' of sin. This does NOT give a Christian license to sin, but comfort to know they are Eternally Secure in Christ.

  • @mxrdvr Oh ohkay, so you think someone can actually stand with sin before God. Kinda whats the difference? None! opposite being without spot or wrinkle but with "just one or two is OK" Right. then is one or two then why not adultery and lying etc etc etc then??

Hey, if thats the case sin like hell and dont bother to repent, one is ok then 1000 must be too, right? seems you want God on "your terms. what a liar you are satan!

  • @zobcity01 When one repents and asks Christ to save them, their sin debt is PAID. That is eternal and NOTHING can change that. We are saved from a 'sin nature.' However, being human, we are still subject to sin. "If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us" (1John 1:10). As humans, in a sinful world, we WILL still slip and sin, we just won't 'live' in sin. Also, to God, ALL sin is sin, and, no one sin is worse than another. God WANTS to save us, not damn us.

  • @mxrdvr Enough said, You can't hear what the word says nor pointed out. Waste someone elses time with your "hannagraft" logic system.

  • @zobcity01 God bless you too... :)

  • @zobcity01 You will not be standing before god with sin. Jesus Christ died on the cross to save us from our sins. Our repentance is through him, not through any person or organization on this earth. If you go by the repentance thing, then nobody that has ever existed on earth except for Jesus Christ himself is worthy of standing before god. He gave his life so that we would be saved. The only unforgivable sin is a continuous, willful rejection of Christ's sacrifice. I hope this helps you.

  • @Helljumper91 What nonsense !!

  • @tallliza Lulz.

  • This false teacher also does not believe in eternal fire of Hell either. If it were possible even the very elect would be decieved. Why then did Jesus say STRIVE TO ENTER IN BECAUSE MANY WILL TRY AND NOT BE ABLE.

    Read 1 John 2:4

    Ezekial 8 :20

Mathew 7, Jesus said Not everyone that says to me Lord,Lord will enter the kingdom of Heaven but he that does the will of my Father in Heaven. Hank is a WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING

  • 1st John 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

  • A friend of mine committed suicide a year and a half ago and he was a new believer. I believe it is possible to still go to heaven despite committing suicide, I don't know that this is always the case though.

  • if you can be forgiven of murder, then you can be forgiven of killing yourself. because it's murder. theres onyl one unforgivable sin, BUT it is most definetly not good to kill yourelf, or godly, or holy in any way, but it is no worse than telling a lie, or disrespectign your parents, or being a prostitute, or stealing a candy bar, or leading people to kill christians like paul did

  • @Terrybob123 actually it is different from murder.

Murder is a sin. Killing yourself is murder, so also a sin. You will be forgiven of your sin.

However when you kill yourself you are actually turning away from God and turning away from the life he has given you

So there is no way for us to say, but i wouldnt kill myself with the idea of "yeh it'll be fine". We should treasure our life, and if you see the persecution other christians have been through, it may put your situation in perspective

  • @RenegadeMaster07 I agree with you my firend, if you can kill yourself your definetly lacking hope and faith that god will be there for you and set things right, i don't believe a christian that is strong in their faith could commit suicide. because suicide is hand in hand with giving up. but the act of suicide isn't unforgivable, but what leads to it could be, losing faith, or not really believing in the first place, otherwise you be content with god's will for you, and be satisfied with it.

  • Love always hopes...ICorinthians 13. Keyword: ALWAYS.. Hmm.. Does the love of God cease when you committ suicide?

  • I think the issue is "as a believer in Christ, if you're strong in your faith, why would you EVER want to kill yourself," not "will Christians go to Heaven if they kill themselves?" Most suicide cases are due to bouts with depression, but just how many of those suicide victims also claimed to have an abundant life in Christ? I don't see how someone can live their life to the fullest as God intended if they feel they need to end it before God says they're ready.

  • @Rawk4Life Maybe they want to meet Him sooner? Just a thought.

  • That's a rather ridiculous thought. Most people commit suicide because they feel they have no purpose in life, think the world is against them, or refuse to believe there's something else for them to pursue. A true Christian never stops searching for the will of God in his/her life, no matter how long it takes them.

  • @Rawk4Life No kidding dude I was just offering an idea. Way to jump on me.

  • @Rawk4Life well, theres bipolar disorder, or addictions that can cause a person to slip and be stupid just long enough to kill themselves. or extreme sadness, a loved one dies, you don't eat or do anything and die.if you smoke and get cancer and die, you've kileld yourself, or if you have an std and die, you've killed your own self, if you jump off a bridge you've killed yourself. it's all the same. strength has nothing to do with it. if you have a little faith, it's counted as a lot

  • King David was a murderer, and also was a man after God's own heart....

  • Apostle John said no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. Suicide is murder. A suicide can't repent of this sin, so they are lost.

  • Interesting, not sure if I agree or not but interesting.

  • I Hope no-one commits suicide. For there is hope in Christ and you should ask HIM for HELP!

I believe the Lord does not want to sent us to hell,He wants us to overcome sin and by His Spirit He will give you Life, everlasting.

If you are desperate or depressed I pray that JESUS will sent someone to pray for you!

Suicide will bring so much misery...for those you leave behind.JESUS LOVES YOU!! GOD BLESS!!

  • If a Christian commits suicide, he does not go to Hell. He goes HOME to his Heavenly Father. Not even the wages of sin itself, death, can seperate believers from the love of Christ (Romans 8:38). The only reason a person goes to Hell is because they refuse to admit they are a sinner and they refuse to trust in the shed Blood of Christ for their salvation.

  • @christopherwalkins

I'm sorry to say but the afterlife is imaginary. People "refuse" to trust in Christ because they cannot believe a claim without evidence.

  • @mfentruck

I'm sorry to hear that you feel that way. It really does come down to faith, though. I believe that Christ died for my sins, was buried and rose again and according to the Bible, I am saved from Hell by God's grace. You also have faith. You BELIEVE that the soul dies when the body dies (if you even believe that we have souls) and that there is no afterlife. Now I ask, how do you KNOW this?

  • @christopherwalkins

I don't KNOW 100% for sure that there is no afterlife, I cannot prove a negative. I think that it is highly unlikely that there is one. I do not have faith, I am simply rejecting a claim. I reject the god claim, I do not have "faith" that there is no god, I simply reject the claim presented by others because there is no evidence.

I do not choose to not believe in god or an afterlife, I simply cannot force myself to believe something for no reason.

  • @mfentruck

Well, you're certainly braver than I am in a sense. For me, the fact that I am a sinner according to the Good Book was enough for me to accept the free gift of salvation by trusting in the shed blood of Christ. Just as Abraham believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness, God will count it to you for righteousness of you believe the Gospel. Plus, don't you know that science actually confirms the Bible's validity in many places?

  • @christopherwalkins

I'm not more brave than you! :-) I understand what you wrote because I used to be a Christian and believed everything that you just conveyed. I understand the free gift of salvation but I really started to think about how ambiguous all of these concepts were and I have reached a point where I can no longer believe them. You know the more I study science the less I believe that there is a personal god.

  • @christopherwalkins

To be honest with you, I think the idea of heaven/hell is absurd. I think that people hold onto the afterlife because (heaven) is very comforting, which I completely understand. But I see no value in worrying about it when there is no evidence that it is real. Seems like you have to "guess" which religion is right and you don't have much to go on seeing as we have no contemporary sources for Yeshua.

  • @mfentruck

    Religion cannot save.

"“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” -Ephesians 2:8,9

God will not have boasters in Heaven. There are enough on earth and no one likes them ;)

  • @christopherwalkins

Hey we are in agreement as far as boasters go!

But why would this god choose something like faith (believing without evidence) as the method of operation? And it's not even just faith, you actually have to be told about Jesus. You have to live in the right place at the right time. What if you can't have faith?

  • @mfentruck

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse" - Romans 1:20

When people respond to the lesser light (creation) and they desire to know God, God makes sure that the Gospel is preached to them. That's how it happened for me. We are without excuse. Either we want to know God or we don't.

  • @mfentruck

well you're obviously curious, since you're looking these things up.
