what's this obsession with church leaders trying to choose for women. Women must have a choice made after consulting with their pastors and their doctors. No one is pro-abortion..this is called pro-choice. Let common sense pre-vail not your religious views.
Until the end of the eighteenth week of the pregnancy the choice of an abortion is entirely up to the woman, for any reason whatsoever. After the 18th and until the 22nd week a woman needs a permission from the doctor to have an abortion. Permission for these late abortions is usually granted for cases in which the fetus or mother are unhealthy.
in ma opinion raila is just a master of kenyan politics, saying the same thing kibaki is saying only in the political language they wanna hea,and by he way why shud the church be a threat,,,,
would the church rather both lives be lost than to keep the life of one , who can at least get another one later.this is like gambling with the life of a mother you have seen and known and sacrificing her life for an angel yet to be seen and and not sure how it will look like, church should be realistic on this, they have aproblem with kardhi courts so they want use this as scape goat to reject the long awaited katiba
Abortion is going on even now that it is not in the constitution and women end up loosing there lives, let doctors deccide when necesesary, why women not talking against the clause
Wht is wrong wrong that clause? Its clear abortion is NOT permitted but gives room to protect a doctor who may save the life of the mother if endangered. Some pple must have seen the process has been so smooth and would like to put obstacles. Why do some pple think that if they don't do something then it must be wrong?
One would think that on one of the toughest decisions any woman can be faced with the one institution that has historically (& to date even) represented the injustices of partriachy would be humbled and shut up on this issue! In any case the hypocrisy of some of those now harping loudest on this issue is an open secret!

Isn't there supposed to be a separation between church and state?

When these men start carrying children, we will take their advise. They would rather a woman and child die, instead of saving one. Wow!
