Interesting to read the caption that this video "is a response" to Horowitz. If true, with this dramatic performance young Anton must have caught Horowitz's attention and the latter phoned him for a brief dialogue. Bravo.
I'm glad that he didn't pound the keys when he repeated the funeral march's first melodie. A lot of pianists seem to be trying to murder the piano at that part, but Anton is calm.
