Yes he was in NY when 9/11 happened he said that someone had called him and told him to turn on the news and when he saw what had happened he was so afraid for his staff and his kids he got everyone together and they went to New Jersey til all was safe.

Michael was so gracious and kind even after he had already endured so much adversity in his young life. He was a true class act. Also, I find him to be intelligent and thoughtful. That is something you hardly ever hear mentioned about him but he was a smart guy.

He just always bared a sadness and loneliness about him that I've never seen in anyone before in my entire life and it absolutely kills me daily. And by the early 90's they were ready to literally crucify him. And that's exactly what they did! Anything to turn the public against such an incredibly powerful individual.
