what I find odd is that in the last episode when Light is dying you get a short glimpse of L watching him. This scene struck me odd, it can be thought of in many different ways. For example, it may have been Light's memories or imagination, or a symbol of Light finally realizing what he'd done. Or perhaps you were supposed to think that he was still alive. Who knows, it's POSSIBLE he's still alive so nobody can just say he's dead for sure. It makes me happy to know that he could be still alive
