Taker also made Austin the star that he was, during their rivalry in 1998-1999, because for Austin to become the biggest star, he had to go through Taker as the final hurdle since he was biggest.

They were all already evolved It got excitng cause Vince gave the main event to heavyweight wrestlers like Kane and Taker instead of giving the main event to cruiserweights like he has done these days or before the Kane/ Austin feud when he would put xpac, DL Brown or jesse james in main event storylines.

as u might know the tombstone hurts on your knees... so what happened is that kane's knees got weak because of using the tombstone so that is why he rarely uses tombstone and has chokeslam as his finisher.
