Malena will release a new album titled "La Voix Du Nord" on 01/07/2009. It will consist of 2 CD's, one with classical music and the other with pop music, probably much in the vein of "La Voix". She's working on it with Fredrik Kempe, who wrote "La Voix" and also had his own opera/disco hit "Vincero" a few years ago.

I think Malena has worked very hard within the opera world to become a part of the popular music scene. Only the audience can make opera popular music. La Voix can play a part in making that happen. Malena is tall but it seems to me that she is a fragile and funny little girl deep inside with a great talent from God.
