more than of the other congressmen & women, Rep. Weiner is on the ground doing video and email correspondence with his constituents, posting informational website info, and really pounding the beltway with his message. I don't think this is about a higher office for him. I think this is just him feeling passionate about an important issue and getting his argument out there to counter the GOP hatespeech and fearmongering.

I agree with almost everything he has said about health care, and I support his ideas, but it seems all ideal. I feel like he's planning a run for higher office in the future. I hate being cynical but it's served me well in the past. I just hope this guy means what he says.

He realizes that healthcare for everyone is MORE important than healthcare for the super-rich, Corporate communists.

I'd say it is naive to think ambition is moot. I'm only being careful, but as for now he's got my support. I hope he continues to stick to his guns, but I've learned that politics are funny, and the best thing we can do is to watch those whom we trust.
