According to the ministry’s survey on the physical health of people aged between 6-60 years in 22 out of 63 provinces and cities, the average height of Vietnamese men is 163.7cm.

However, an 18-year-old Vietnamese man is 13.1cm shorter than the international average height, while women’s are 10.7cm shorter.

You can see 3 generation Korean go together.Grandparents and parent is small,but young Korean is very tall beside them.

I can see the younger generation of vietnamese american men (boys) and women (girls) looking to be 3 to 5 inches taller than their parents and grandparents on average. When your generation is in the 60 year old age range the short height vietnamese stereotype will be a thing of the past. Hoang Bao Tran children and grandchildren will be giants.

a long way to go...but it's very possible. i mean if you look at shenzhen in china, about 35 years ago it was only a fishing village basically and now it's a modern city with skyscraper.

so it's very possible for vietnam to do the same, except vietnam does not have the same manpower as china does, nor does it have the same resources.

Most of the projects you see on the video will be finished by 2010. When the Hanoi Landmark Tower is finished by 2010, it will be the second tallest building in SE Asia only behind the Twin Towers in Malaysia. The building will be 17th tallest in the world when finished.

There is alot of big nice projects popping up in Vietnam right now. Some are being build some are still waiting for ground breaking some are still waiting for approval. I think Vietnam will look very different in 10 to 20 years from now and Vietnam skyline will rival any city like BK, HK, Singapore, Manila or any other cities around the world btw you missing the Financial Tower.

at 0:14 is Hanoi Landmark Tower they are building it right now as we speaking and i think it will complete in 2010 as earliest.. the second one is Tan Tao Sky 84 floors and will get build very soon maybe this year or so and will finish in 2012..at 1:21 is PetroVietnam complex will get build in 2010..at 2:10 i think its Saigon Time Square and they are building it right now and will get finish in 2 or 3 years
