nothing wrong with starting small. I still haven't tried making any of it either. good idea starting with a tail. Just have fun with it. if you really can't make it yourself you can just commission someone to do it.
Yeah, I started small, I can do the tail good, and ok with my hand/foot paws.. but then came the head.. REALLY hard, I got a shape down, turns out Im good at sculpting foam. but trying to get the fur on it drove my crazy. so I got someone to commission it. She is doing a whole partial for me. but I still work on the one I did, to try to learn, and maybe oneday finish my own
do you still make suits or design them?

This is really interesting.
There is no way Im going to attempt a full suit as Ive never even made a tail.
Though I do plan on making my first tail soon, got the fur for it & I have a basic idea on how to do it.
