In the book, The Informant, which the movie was based on, the book went into great detail about Whitaker's bipolar disorder (much more than the movie does). It talked about 2 different doctors, from 2 different states diagnosing him with bipolar disorder in the 1990s, by also using some type of MRI technique of the brain. The 2 doctors, bipolar specialists, both said Whiatker was certainly bipolar, and Whitaker had 2 suicide attempts prior to diagnosis and any treatment for the disease.
I wonder if he is really bipolar or whether he learned what it looked like to be bipolar? Someone with as many degrees as he has, I don't think it would be that hard for him to make people perceive him as bipolar. I think that first he took the kickbacks which is illegal, then realized he was going to be a fall guy. Blew the whistle, realized he was going to get really screwed and then stole the money. Then realized he'd have to explain that and then came up with the bipolar bit. Make Sense?
I side with whitacre on this,,it cost everyone everywhere,,Im from Decatur Illinois and you have to understand how big ADM is and how far they reach. Thier buildings go on for miles and they have thier own power plants.
