  • QUOI? C'est magique, ça!

  • Wow, it sounds like Pat was playing a synth guitar because you're so accurate!

  • the best....

  • I didn't realise people actually played left handed wind instruments. I thought the video had been mirrored until I read the description. Well you learn something ever day.

  • This guy performs magic on an otherwise effing bore of an instrument. I wish I could hear him performing original solos.

  • woooooooouw sencillamente notable!

  • wow

  • This is just too great - one of my all time favorite guitar solos has now also become my all time favorite recorder solo!

  • tout simplement incroyable. Si tu donnes un concert au Québec,Canada, je veux y être....

  • wow I love it, I've never enjoyed a Pat Metheny solo more.. you got some magic going on there!!!

  • If I hadn't seen it I wouldn't believe it. Completely astonishing!

  • Never seen a Recorder played like that before, You are the Man!

  • IMPOSIBILE????

  • My respects.

  • Unbelievable! and what a great sound. I think you were playing in sync with the guitar version. Why doesn't your recorder have that annoying whistling effect? Is it a baritone?

I couldn't play that on any instrument. I've transcribed Nostalgia from a Fats Navarro recording and Samia by Eddie Daniels which I still can't play well.

Your speed makes me aware that I probably will never get that fast, how depressing. How much practicing for that song I wonder.

  • i agree with the comments here, this is the most incredible thing ive seen.

I remember the recorders at the yamaha music store and thought they were little more than toys. I play a little guitar and wouldnt dream of attempting this and this guy does it perfectly on a recorder.
