@bornofosirisnut Eating them raw is the only way to get 100% of the protein, vitamins and nutrients. Not to mention all the enzymes are still in tact. I say 100% raw for me is best but I still eat some cooked foods such as steamed veggies. Think of it as levels of taking out the nutrients, raw being the best then comes steaming which is still healthy but then baking reduces it more which makes frying the worse way to eat food. Take it one step at a time and eat more fruits, veggies and shakes.
@kosai19 My wife and I are the ones that are truely raw, were still working on our kids. There has been many changes in our lives its hard to pick just one thing. Once I felt the difference in the way I feel inside and how much energy I have during my workouts it made since that using all the nutrients from foods was the right choice for us. I didnt realize how much toxins I was putting in my body and how little nutrients I was really getting. No wonder theres so much sickness in the world
@kosai19 We started 100% raw our first 10 months and now we are high raw, so you dont have to be 100%. Just drinking a green shake everyday will make big difference and staying away from processed foods.
I was wondering about those dehydtators fora while , would you guys have any recomends for a family getting their first dehydrator, do's / dont's kind of thing, was thinking on using them for the different pulps from the juicer to make 'things....
@VonLeachim It all depends on how much you want to spend and how often you plan on using it. The Nesco is a good deal for the price (around $50-60) , but if you want some thing bigger I would go for the excalibur, we found it to be the best.
DUDE this pizza was AWESOME! thank you and your wife!!!!

Hi, can you explain a bit more what you did to dehydrate the mushrooms? Did you marinate first? And for how long did you put them in for?
Thanks!

@RawFoodMuscle
What's the biggest difference that you're family has noticed with raw foods?
Is it really worth taking that plunge to 100% raw?
