    ...maybe its just the angle...

  • Natures theme song.

  • A gorgeous interpretation and luscious video that is a perfect match.

  • Outstanding. I'm really quite impressed.

  • Very beuatiful! Does anyone know what grade this would be on the guitar? My son has just done grade 2, so I'm not sure whether this piece would be a bit too difficult for him.

  • look at the cute wikkle bats!

  • delicate and subtle like a geisha's footsteps

  • delicate and subtle like a geisha's footsteps

    so so beautiful

  • MARVELOUS!

    TRÉS BIEN!

    CONGRATULACIONES!

    so beautiful, I can't say!

Kisses and hug from brazilian Erik fan :)

    great great guitar player.

  • How come classical pieces aren't open to individual interpretation. Would it be fair to say that if she chose to play a piece with her own slant that she would automatically be accused of making errors. Just a thought. The whole anal rigidity is a bit snobbish eh.

  • @MrMiddenfacemcnulty that's totally incorrect! Any person who tells you that classical pieces can't be interpreted doesn't know what they are talking about. For example, Glenn Gould is just one example of a classical artist who presents a number of interesting ideas with his performances and has often been called unorthodox in his interpretations.

  • This is quite beautiful, but the rhythms are not interpreted correctly. She is playing the bass notes with the grace notes, instead of the "actual" notes, which makes it a bit awkward (though the sound is traditionally "guitar-y").

  • Comment removed

  • can u do it with the actual notes? ive found it rather hard on the guitar. maybe i just need to retrain myself.

  • i wanna learn. show me your ways.

  • i want to make love with her

  • masterly, musical and interesting. perfect video.

  • she plays it like its another instrument..?! amazing... kind of...

  • 2:45 I wonder what the name of those animals is.

  • they are rainforest bats...I don't know their names.

  • Gracias, buscaré, me gustan mucho esos animales.

  • Like Michael Jackon (R.I.P) these bats decided to be white!!!

  • Those are tiny bats, sleeping the day away. Bats hate music. A lot.

  • Comment removed

  • shut the fuck up

  • 2:45, ¿cómo se llama esa especie?

  • PURA VIDA!!!!

  • Bello paisaje, bella música, bella mujer...

  • Beautiful!

The sound, however, could've been better - but the way it was now, made it feel like I was there listening to her!

  • Beautifully done! I would love to be able to play this, on piano or guitar.<333

  • wow....

  • espectacular! maravilloso!

  • Sick

  • Beauty beyond words. Is the video of Kaori playing Satie's Gymnopedie available? (you see her start to play it for a few seconds at the very end of this piece). That would also be amazing I am sure... Bravo!

  • She´s really amazing .. Just flawless work !

  • There was also a younger japanese girl in here , who played Shostakovichs Jazz Suit No.2 with an E-Violin , but they´ve removed it . Pity , she was almost as good as Muraji :(

  • This is incredible on so many levels.

  • who knew that baby bats were so cute and such fans of Satie

  • D: wow

  • Bats! I was not expecting to see them.

  • I Love you Amal.. in music.

  • beautiful! very impressive!

  • Beautiful!

  • very beautifully played. amazing...

by the way, does anyone know the official web address of Kaori Muraji, or a website that gives you the details of her tours and concerts, please?

  • Very elegiac!!! Congratulations.

  • amazing on all points

  • beautiful!

  • Really amazing !

  • she's such a babe!!!!

  • thanks.

  • Do you want a prize or something?

  • yes

  • I'll notify the committee then.

  • I love they way she caresses the guitar. Awesome

  • beautiful.Thanks.

  • Nice =)

  • This is awesome for so many different reasons.

The guitar version of this definitely gives it a different feel

  • wonderful!

  • Where is this place??? Anyone know?

  • costa rica

  • Humm....superbe

  • hmm yes just a little but the melody of oriental flavour is wonderful dont you think....

  • Piękne! Beautiful!Just as Satie should be played - not too slowly and not too sentimentally.

  • Finest guitar version online!

    Muraji's touch is utterly sublime!

  • Muraji-san sugoi!!!

  • i know the answer its erik satie's Gymnopédies - 1

  • great stuff, does any1 know what song plays right aat the end of the clip, its bugging me i have to hear it, thanks

  • A magical piece.

  • BELLO

  • Very nice!

  • And you are blatantly wrong; it's the perfect tempo.

Besides, if you study Satie at all and know his personality; he would not give a fig about someone altering tempo; he would feel happy someone remembered him thru his musique.

  • Yeah but the pegs or machineheads are also longer ¿no?

  • The neck on that guitar looks unussually long and the machine heads too.Can anybody explain to me why?

  • I think the body of the guitar is just smaller relative to the neck. That makes the neck seem longer.

  • She is a great player and she is in the most beautiful place on earth and the song is great and.....oh yes.....she is such a BABE!!!!

  • I never heard this woman before, but this version is very nice. French music, Japanese performer, Costa Rica forest, this is the real globalization. The music and the places are perfects, congratulations from Spain.

  • never heard this woman before. very nice.

  • This melody, is so hauntingly beautiful.. i cant stop listening to it.

And she plays it so well.. this is an excellent video , the imagery and the music blend perfectly together.

  • Beautifully done and shot.

Superb tone -and undertones- and wittily lithe fingering.

    Classic and sublime.

Satie must be shedding a tear of joy.

  • that was perfect appreciate a distinctive sense in taste

Vraiment splendide

  • thank you very much for this video:).

Anybody knows where can be found the score for this arrangement?

  • It's great to see someone playing this song at the right pace, and with fluidity and feeling.

  • sublime

  • This is wonderful - melancholy yet hypnotically beautiful.

  • sublime, yaatik essaha

  • This is wonderful!

  • The snake looks like he is hypnotised!

If you like it, try the gymnopedie series (the #1 is the one that starts when it cuts)

  • This is so beautifully dark and melancholic, the silence between the measures is hysterical(if that makes any sense).

  • where can I get this transcription?

  • MAGNIFIQUE

  • I play guitar aswell (and Im very good at it) but this is very very good and much better than I can play.

  • She is Amazing

  • the control she has on the guitar is immaculate. Beautiful video and amazing guitaring, simply inspiring.

  • Une des rares chansons "parfaites".

One of the few perfect songs ever written.

  • Erik is alive when people do things like this and when people apreciate things like this

    Taks
