  • NTF, Dude you go back a long way, 2008. youtube was still a baby. Do you still shoot a Kimber? There are so many 1911's these days. The only 1911 made in USA in-factory down to making their steel. Kimber is unique. I had to get one, any serious gun nut has to have one. The desighn is old, but nothing points better for me. maybe the PPQ, maybe! But a little Kimber Carry Ultra Tac II. Oh my, what a nice gun.

  • @harpoclarx Hey can you recommend a nice 1911 for carry? I was lookiing olt defender and Para warthog, like either of the two, can you recommend a good 1911 for carry?

  • @GTILOUD I really like both companies carry 1911's. I have the Kimber TAC Ultra II. I love it, anyone that shoots it, loves it, I showed it to a small arms combat instructor that just came back from his third tour in Iraq. We were at a gun range. He nailed holes in holes, one after another with it. Absolutely incredible shooting, and he fell in love with the little Kimber right there. That really nailed it for me, like I said they are al wonderful gun's. Thank's.

  • @harpoclarx Thx dood Ill look at the kimber 1911.

  • The 1911 is a tried and true design. I carry one in my truck (along with my savage 110. I like to know I have firepower in my truck haha. I have just a sig saucer 1911 but I like it. It gets the job done, powerful, accurate. I got it from a friend of mine for 300. I'm glad for my purchase

  • Hey nutnfancy, sorry I haven't subbed yet (promise to soon), but I've been watching u forever and have watched almost all your vids. Please tell me what you think about Kimbers vs Dan Wessons. I wanna get one out of those two and don't want to regret my decision. Tks!

  • wow cmon Nutnfancy

tell the truth how many times them POS Kimbers have been sent back

the 1911 is the best design in the last 100 years, the problem is idiots dont educate themselves on how they operate

  • Law enforcement officers ARE civilians! Anyone not in the military is a civilian. Pet peeve.

  • I agree. I have a Kimber Tactical Custom II and I love it. It feels like it was made for my hands and it fires everything I feed it. Great pistol.

  • Beautiful Guns

That is all I have to say

  • thats a bedside tabel gun...

  • @SkeetGeedler He's not talking about being "man enough" to hold up the gun, obviously everyone can hold up 2 pounds. He's saying that after a time carrying that weight every day may get uncomfortable for some people, and cause them to not carry as often. This has nothing to do with how "manly" someone is.

  • colt 1911 the epitome of a pistol

  • SVI, nuff said.

  • I have a Super Carry Ultra and is the best thing I ever had !!! Just awesome !!!

  • dude, hurry up and action da slide. thats what we want to see. at 1: 49 you almost said Navy Seals nice edit bro just say it. you know Marcinko probably carried one. your finger guards are not Diamond eched i see.Are you withKimber? great guns son.

  • Great review, I have to disagree. I think 1911 is just as effective today as it was 100 years ago. Sure the first mag is 8-10 rounds but back ups mags can be up to 15. If you need more than 10 rounds you need an ak or ar. Not trying to be disrespectful, but I don't live in a war zone where my only weapon is a high pistol.

  • @MattUSMC1911 Even in a war zone, it's great. I was issued (still have it, don't know why) a MEU SOC handgun, it's the best .45 I've used, and possibly the best handgun period.

  • @SSgt24thMEU (This is MattUSMC1911 new youtube account) Dude thats awesome bro! Hope you find a way to hold on to that piece. I carried it and it never let me down. Im no longer a service but I carry practically the same weapon in a Wilson Combat's CQB Tactical. Hope it serves you as well as it has me Devil Dog!

  • @Morepullups I'm still in service, still got it. Personally, I would want a higher capacity (like the Para 1911), or really, just use my Glock 31.

  • @SSgt24thMEU Rock on bro. I love Sig's 250 among Glock 31. I haven't worked to much with Para, I know they have great high capacity 1911's.

  • "I tale of two Kimbers ..." good introduction.

  • ok so im pretty new when it comes to guns. i've been watching videos on youtube for months now so i kinda have a grasp on things. for those of you who do know firearms well. how would i go about getting into training with guns if i am 19?

  • what do you think on the plastic mainspring housing?

  • kimbers are the most finely machined and built firearms, period.

  • I like a heavy steel framed pistol. I know pistol whipping someone in the face with a 1911 is putting them down. Less than lethal force.

  • @mushroomscouser keep in mind that pistol whipping is still assault with a deadly weapon.

  • I REALLY dont understand why he calls them expensive!? I mean they are but you can get a brand new one for 700-1000 easy!!! How many other high quality1911's are below that!? Or quality handguns in general!?

  • I love my kimber super carry pro .45 acp. i got my chl recently and i needed a comfortable gun to protect me and my family. i love the gun and it shoots smoothly. Kimber is the best.

  • Hey Nutnfancy love your vids!!! but i gotta buts ur balls a little bit (all with love and respect) your killin me with the weight thing man lol man you gotta cowboy up a lil do some push ups so you and pack some steel without havin to worry about how heavy it is!!!!! We get it if it isnt made of TUPPERWARE like the Glocks but u like so here it is proof 1911s have been around for 100years now and steel running strong ... 1911s are not plastic for a reason thank GOD!!! STILL LOVE YA THO BRO!!!!!!

  • I won't argue with you about what guns are better designed, but I have never had another type of gun that felt so comfortable in my hands, or pointed as naturally as the 1911. It just feels right to me. The Springfield XD series is close, and would likely be my next pick. Nice review, thanks.

  • What's the cheapest Kimber out there?

  • that's what i'm getting for concealed carry

  • damn disabled ratings...this is an older vid and i wanna like it...i love kimbers i will be purchasing :D

  • My dad uses a Kimber .45 for home defense, ccw

  • he contradicts himself a lot. the 1911 is way to heavy. i'm a huge sig fan, they are totally awsome. they are a lot heavier than an aluminum frame 1911. either way you can buy an ugly glock, have two myself, 19 and 22 for the price of one of these. Btw you can get a pro carry for 775 at budsgunshop.

  • Great vid. But just wondering does anyone have any thoughts on the kimber compact CDP 2? Recently i shot an ultra cdp then saw the compact model and really liked it. If anyone had any info it would be apreciated.

  • Let me guess, by better pistols, you mean glocks right.....

  • How do Kimber's compare to the Springfield 1911's I was completely sold on the Operator TRP until I saw this video.

  • @SilenceSlayer224 Both are overpriced and neither really have re-sale value.

    Springfield made in brazil

Both have tons of pointless bells and whistles

If you want a full size 1911, the best American bang for the buck would be "Auto Ordnance". No frills and no BS. And no resale value either

If you NEED a compact 1911 go with the "Colt Defender Compact 45 O7000D". It is a few dollars more. However you can shoot the crap out of it and almost always get back at least what you paid for it

  • If you were to buy a Coose a Sig 45ACP for carry which model would it be?

  • Kimbers are sick... Pretty pricey but worth the money.. My fave is the Covert & the Rapters.. Sweeeet

  • What did you do to your hand bro?

  • I just don't like the part that sticks out under the hammer. I have a browning hi-power and it looks/shoots amazing. I feel like a gun should be aesthetically pleasing as well as high quality.

  • please nutnfancy make more full size pistol videos 1911 ,sig sauer p220 ,ruger 45 well guess im saying please make more 45 acp videos i know its a lot to ask cause rounds are expensive thanx.

  • I believe the carry is as much about the holster as the weapon..i find the Kimber Super Carry Custom as easy to carry in a White Hat or Crossbreed IWB as a normal cc weapon in a typical holster. The Kimber Super Carry is VERY light ...carried it EVERY day for over 17 months.

  • I have looked at the Kimber website, and I do not see an aluminum frame that comes with night sights, or a crimson trace...that is not a good thing as far as options. I will be getting a Kimber 1911 hopefully soon. The stainless version of your TLE II in the video.

  • @tiwer1 It didn't take me long to find a gun with those options on Kimbers site. On most of the guns they offer you can get either night sights or a laser grip or even both! I don't think all the models offer an aluminum frame though.

  • What does the danger sticker say?

  • @KosukiFire something about the laser being dangerous if pointed at the eyes.

  • @OhshitPositive

...WOW So much for laser eye surgery... lol

  • I've had the Pro Carry II for a few years now. I have several carry handguns but I prefer my Kimber. The main difference being the accuracy and feel; with my Ruger and Glock I hit the part of the target I am aiming at, with my Kimber I hit the number mark on the part of the target I am aiming at. It is night and day just with feel and accuracy. Yes it is heavy but it out-performs every other compact I have fired by a good margin.

  • What do you think of Colt 1911's as they are the original maker of the model.

  • Have you ever thought about the Ultra Covert II? those have a nice frame color thats like the flat earth u love nutn....and it's lighter than the procarry (25oz) and it has nightsights and crimson trace grips :D!!!! ME LIKE ME WANT haha!

  • Just really wish that Kimber would switch to Novak sights. I can't stand the ones the put on them.

  • @hierate they make some that look like novaks. check out the covert line by Kimber. you can also buy them off kimbers site for $140 for the set

  • Where did you find those without the ugly-ass ergonomic addition to the bottom of the magazine??

  • @sk8r4lifeyo kimpro tac mags on kimbers website, or any other site that sells 1911 mags

  • i'm looking for a 1911 , it's going to be my first one of this kind , quality , reliability and accuracy and of course good price.. 800-900...

  • @junitoyukiyu1 springfield loaded model. I chose Springfield over Kimber because imo, SA's metal quality is alot better than kimber. The parts of any SA 1911 are forged steel (that adds strength) and of course are loaded with features hence its name "loaded". I did a review on mine, if youre really curious, you should check it out.

  • i'm looking for a 1911 , it's going to be my first one of this kind , quality , reliability and accuracy and of course good price.. 800-900

  • Ulra Carry II 25 Ounces

  • Around what price range are they?

  • @Speeding777 like around 800-900

  • @Speeding777 You can Get the Pro Carry II for 750 same for Ultra Carry II. The Pro Carry II with crimson laser is 800-900+

  • I have a Stainless Ultra Carry 2. I have Never had a FTF, FTE (NOTHING) and I use the stock mag that came with it and 2 KimPro TacMags and 2 Wilson combats. All the mags work great in my Kimber. I might just be one of the lucky ones ;)

  • @nutnfancy, Thank You so much. You talk about things that I enjoy and you tell me things that I need to hear. Keep up the good work Bro.

  • Hey Nutnfancy, wow, thanks for taking the time to help people with these videos!! I love this weapon!! I am saving so I can buy this exact pistol!!! Thanks again.

  • Still see the scab from the Tenacious Cut video on your thumb. Coolness.

    .

  • Sorry but buy a F@CKING Springfield 1911 they have the same quality 4 less because MR Nutn you pay for the brand.

  • @AlfonsFromAtech bull shit

  • @noticalmeff Yo guy that design is 100 years old you can not improve that BITCHASS they all shoot the same

  • @AlfonsFromAtech we've owned three springfield all of them sucked, couldn't shoot straight, and jammed every four shots

  • @noticalmeff thats weird, just sold my kimber to go back to the springfield since the kimber had that problem. I had a pro crimson carry 2 and it was a nightmare.

  • I myself carry a Kimber Pro Carry II, and it's a great gun but there are two problems that I've run into(especially when I first got it):

    1. Occasionally, the gun will fail to feed on the last round, though this is before I bought Wilson Combat mags.

    2. The gun has a bad tendency to eject its shell casings right at my face. Hard.

Is there a way to fix the ejection problem?

  • @BiGRiCeD try replacing your guide rod spring to get the expended casing from hitting your face, 1911's are notorious for the guide rod spring douching out on you, this is why they are obsolete and no military uses it anymore

  • Top three 1911 makers Kimber, Wilson Combat, Para Ordanance :)

    1911

"Because pistol whipping someone with plastic won't get your point across"

  • @Tux3d0 What about Springfield Armory? I've heard nothing but good things about their products.

  • @BiGRiCeD lol yeah if i had to make a top ten but I'm talking mostly about custom 1911's o.O

  • These look fantastic pieces

  • Dude, lose the talking in third person ok?

  • funny that most of you bashing the kimbers are the people that cant even afford 1,maybe you need to stick with a crossman and leave the real gun's to people that can afford them

  • @youretardxd I love my Kimber PC..But I carry my Glock 23, Glock 27 or S&W636 38....I still love my Kimber though! LOL

  • blackhawk?

  • KIMBERS FTW.

  • and what would you think as a cheap .45 as a good pistol to start a pistol collection, ive had my eye on a remi R1 (again im in canada so carry weight and such dont matter)

  • other then the carry bit (sry i dont care about that) this was very informative thank you you should give lessons to some of the other reviewers on youtubes lol

  • i see your tenacious scar!

  • @MrAdcomedy he already did. he technically reviewed the m9, but there really isn't much of a difference

  • do you own all the guns you review?

  • how much?

  • i like those!

  • @MrAdcomedy it's been done, search nutn's channel and you'll find plenty of what you're looking for

  • Kimber's are nice!

  • I carry a Sig 220 DAO on duty. My Kimber Ultra CDP II makes an ass out of it.

  • just traded in all my guns for one of these. this was a great buy.

  • I love the sticker on the first gun making you aware of the laser, I think when you have a .45 ACP staring you in the face with a laser the last thing you have have to worry about is your retna getting damaged.. hahahaha.. awesome guns !!!

  • good but very repeatitive.

  • Always great informative videos!

Your videos have helped me in my Kimber purchase. Thanks for that.

I have the crossbreed holster and have made a video showing me in golf shirt and shorts concealing a Kimber Tactical Ultra II.

    Excellent product!

search: Concealed Carry Golf Shirt with IWB Holster

  • @TheGeorgeGuide thinking of getting tactical ultra ll myself, any and all issues you've had with this gun would be greatly appreciated. 1200 bucks on this gun is alot. then i gotta go buy new mags from wilson combat? wtf? any pros or cons would be great. thanks.

  • if it's a "good design but has been pretty much superceded by modern pistol manufacturing", then why is this video called Carry Perfection haha

  • haha you can see the tenacious cut on your hand

  • single action means you have to cock it every time you shoot?

  • @PLxFTW No. single action means that you have to chamber a round (pull slide back and the hammer will be cocked back) and once you shoot it the slide will automatically chamber a new round so all you need to do to shoot again is pull the trigger. double action is being able to fire when the hammer is lowered without cocking the hammer

  • @CaneCorsoZeus Ok so like a lot of revolvers are double action.

  • @PLxFTW Yes a lot of revolvers are double action. some are DA and SA, meaning if you pull the hammer back yourself it's SA, and the trigger pull is much lighter with SA. if it has no hammer it's double action only, aka DAO

  • @CaneCorsoZeus Yeah I shot my father's friend's Ruger .357 and the trigger pull wtih single action is almost nothing.

  • if you are worried about the weight of a pistol, and want to carry a concield weapon then get a .22. with a .22 you dont have to worry about the weight and the recoil compared to a .45. and Kimber has .22 cal pistols. seem to be putting alot of points on weight.

  • this is a old model the new ones have a rounded butt.......

  • Stop biting your nails !!!

  • Which Taurus model 1911 is that?

  • I'm looking into buying a single stack 1911 .45 for my wife, home defense with knock down power for someone with a small hand since my double stack .40 Beretta is too big for her grip. What "inexpensive" 1911 would you recommend? Something in a range of 600 to 800 dollars.

  • @CHUBBYGOB69 Could consider Springfield Armory GI 1911's. Theyre bare bones, like what was issued in WW2. about 5-600 bucks

  • @gammathetasbear. Thanks for the suggestion, it was a toss up between a Taurus and the Springfield G.I. Obviously I would prefer to buy American and the Springfield brand is synonymous with quality while the quality of the Taurus is questionable.

  • is it true that Kimber has poor customer service?

  • @mrlaminin In my experience kimber has amazing customer service. I had some feed problems with my Kimber Entry Tactical 2. I called their customer service and they had me send it to them. I had it back in just over 2 weeks and it shoots beautiful now.

  • I think heavy guns are good for confidence. Lightweight guns seem to breed anxiety in people -- especially guns that have a simple manual of arms, like Glocks and Springfields. Kimber guns build peacefulness and spirituality.

  • @LibertariansAreLiars and puppies and rainbows.

  • Yeah, fuck gunlaws in Otario. :c

  • I own a Kimber Ultra Carry II. The first time I took it out for firing I ran over 700 rounds thru it. The only problems I had where with 2 cheap no name brand magazines. Kimber produces a solid reliable 1911 that I am proud to own.

  • Looks like that Tenacious Cut is healing up nice ;p

  • All I want for Christmas is two kimbers

  • Comment removed

  • Are these borrowed? I noticed around the slide stop it's a little juicey- just like a 1911 should be :) Also- Chip Mccormick 10rd Powermag.. +2 or +3... 2 FTF during my break in (450rds) in fresh mags fresh gun. Not a jam just a lazy follower. If I ever get another the world will know hehe. Natchezss had them really cheap when I picked them up recently. Take a peek.

  • wow u can actually play snake lol

  • up left upleft and play snake

  • according to the hatcher chart the 45 is the perfect weapon for concealed carry

  • If you want a 1911 made with the tightest tolerances buy a les baer, A way you can tell if a baer is real is hold it to your ear and flick it and it should ping when you do. People that know real "custom" 1911's know kimbers don't exist....Kimber is a civi company. And yes I know some cops do carry them not all cops know guns inside and out.

  • @rockcrawlerdude9916 kimber isn't custom. Kimber is production. Of course semicustoms like wilson combat will be better, for a much higher price

  • @thejiggliestpuff You can buy a springfield 1911 for less and it's a higher quality firearm. But to each his/her own. Im just not a kimber fan nor will i ever be. But with that being said they are not the lowest on the pole. Para and Auto are on my shit list followed my Rock Island.

  • @rockcrawlerdude9916

I own a Springfield MIL SPEC 1911. While it cost me just over half of what my Kimber 1911 cost me, it is not nearly as reliable. It runs OK on ball ammo but tends to choke on hollow point. I've also had many "stove pipes".

A bit of emery cloth work on the feed ramp can fix most of its failure to feed problems. The ejection port could use some work also.

I'm not putting down Springfield, you just get what you pay for.

  • @billparadise12 I have spoken with some of the top gunsmiths/pistol smiths in the state that's where I get my info from. I can cite the source of my info if you like. But I'm pretty sure you know more about guns. If springfield makes such a crappy product why is it that the FBI's Hostage Rescue Team carry a springfield opperator HRT and not a kimber? Because kimber didn't pass the test that the Hostage Rescue Team put it threw and springfield did.

  • Not to sound like a dick I like most of your videos but a kimber is the last gun I'd buy if buying a 1911. Most of the parts on a kimber are cast....with a kimber you pay a premium price for mediocre materials....If you were to compare a kimber to another company it would be taurus. If you want a high end 1911 look at springfield, wilson combat, nighthawk custom, volkmann, sti, les baer.

  • you should seriously do a review of the SCAR-H.

  • @LWRCftw You're kidding right?

  • @ThePaperWin do i sound like im kidding? what's wrong with the SCAR?

  • @LWRCftw There's nothing wrong with the SCAR-17S besides the MSRP, I doubt that it will be reviewed because of that.

  • @ThePaperWin yeah, that's true, the SCAR is ridiculously expensive

  • never liked these guns, ugly and im no gun expertt, but i believe a glock with 19 bullets would be a better choice.

  • @Carljoakimmm If you can't take care of your enemies with 8 shots, you either missed every shot or you are in a situation where you're fucked.

  • @thejiggliestpuff let me put it like this: the more bullets u can shoot, the higher chance of u hitting something

  • @Carljoakimmm You have to be pretty bad if you can't hit with at least 2 bullets at someone at statically probable self defense shooting distances. If you need 15 shots to hit 2 times then you fail at life in general (still assuming short distances---you don't want to be shooting long range with a handgun where there are high chances of missing and hitting innocent people)

  • @thejiggliestpuff not being able to take peoples lives is not failing at life, unless ur a hitman or something. dont u understand that its a bigger chance of hitting if u have more bullets?

  • @Carljoakimmm You are right, when a guy comes and wants to kill me I should shoot 15 bullets into them durp durp no. There is a "bigger chance" to hit if more shots are used but but the fact is, at the range that most encounters are at, your probability of hitting is already near 100%. When I say failing at life, I meant being able to put bullets on target in a short distance without missing everyshot (which doesnt mean killing people zzz, don't put words in my mouth)

  • @thejiggliestpuff all right, then i wont put words in ur mouth, but still, not being able to handle a gun is not failing at life.. And I dont believe that the your probability to hit someone is near 100% how do u know that/why do u think that? ive never said you should shoot 15 bullets into a guy, im saying that there is a bigger chance to hit someone with 19 bullets that with 8, how is that so hard to get, u dont seem that stupid...

  • i like the right bottom gun the black 1, but there's 1 reason why i would NOT buy this gun, because of the safety on the back;)

  • @jasona380 safety on the grip is a non issue, little to no pressure to operate, and takes no thought to use because it is automatically operated when the gun is gripped, and is there so you can safely carry the weapon with the safety off

  • We can see that cut from the tenacious, man that looks nasty

  • would love to have at least one :( no store will bring one to my country :(

but y have the noisy sw500

  • its not a dated design, its a tradtional design

  • Can people give me their experience with the kimbers, positive or negative. Thanks.

  • I've been reading a lot of posts everywhere about the poor quality control on Kimbers. I've been thinking about getting one, but at this price point I don't want to be having problems.

  • I think you are wrong on all levels. I respect your opinion, but the 1911 is the best design. Its been around since WWII or even before! but they are one best gun on the market. You don't see anyone ruling out the M2 50cal machine gun. It just works. But remember I do respect your opinion. Good vids

  • @HolyShize why do you think it is called a 1911? Browning knew what he was doing.

  • @quarvis tu-shay

  • @HolyShize 1911 got its name from the year of its invention... so its been used through from WWI through to even today! if thats not a statement to its awesomeness! then i dont know what is... i mean it weighs alot for a handgun but i love the feel and the look...

  • these videos would be better if he would get to the point! LOL!

  • OMFG, you can play snake by pressing pause and holding down the left arrow key!

  • I'm happy as hell with my Custom TLE 2. Up to 8+1 Speer Gold Dot, plenty of ammo. Although nutnfancy has convinced me to get a Glock as my next gun. Which will probably be a G26

  • @hoboboxerjoe i have one as well love it...

  • 1911 4tw

  • For the people who dont believe of having all, think about it like this. If you lock your door at night, you believe that somebody will try to break in. Maybe not that night, but its possible and you play it safe. If you own a gun, your prepared for that guy.

  • why would you want to carry a gun around all the time?

  • @Carljoakimmm carrying a policeman is just too heavy for my EDC. So, I opt for just the pistol.

  • @skiendog very funny. you mean you are afraid to walk outside unarmed?

  • @Carljoakimmm ...Are you really insinuating that being prepared is a bad thing?

The question to carry a gun is NOT whether or not someone is afraid. The question is whether or not that person wants an option. Let me explain, without a gun, your option is... Die. With a gun, you have an option!

  • @skiendog sure, but why would anybody want to kill you?

  • @Carljoakimmm what's the stupidest reason anyone has ever been killed over? i can name some really, really, stupid ones... can you?

  • @skiendog go ahead

  • @Carljoakimmm ...why don't you google "Sally Garwood" and see what comes up.

  • @skiendog im on it

  • @skiendog alright, how often do you think that happens:L

  • @Carljoakimmm all the time. Crazzy killers: Seung-Hui Cho, Nidal Malik Hasan, Amy Bishop, Calvin Lavant... this would be a very long list.

  • @skiendog u know, thats 4 names, out of six billions, i dont know how fucked up ur country is, but in norway allmost everyone is unarmed, and i believe our murder rate is waaaaaaaaay lower than urs

  • @Carljoakimmm Those are just 4 EXAMPLES, he could go on forever. Also your country is very small, your murder rates aren't low because everyone is unarmed, its because you don't have big crime infested city's. You don't understand becaus
