The Rock and Austin proved that they're still ready at Wrestlemania, and at least Angle, I'm not sure about any others, are still active in other industries like TNA. The people that say "bring the attitude era back" just miss the good old days, with great superstars and great entertainment, and they feel that it is possible to bring said superstars back and produce high quality entertainment, comparable to the attitude era.

You also had guys with different looks, styles and attitudes. Today if you look at the roster and the guys in FCW the majority are all tall and have the same look.
