@TheHiddenPart Oh, I didn't know the spring could have anything to do with it. That's probably what it is then, 'cause the spring is very light in this pistol.
@IanRI1911 in a very marginal way, a recoil spring does have something to do with delaying the action of the slide. That, and possibly the hammer spring, or an aftermarket firing pin stop plate with an incorrect bevel on the lower portion.
Very cool, loved the different camera perspectives. Why did you have so much unburned powder on each round- the sparks on ejection? I've not seen that before.
Great videos man. What load are you using? I've loaded 45ACP with Clays and I'm getting the same result you are.

@limekid I'm usin' .5CCs of the Clays with Magtech primers and "Oregon Trail" laser-cast 230 grain bullets.

@IanRI1911 No.5 Accurate powder, right? That shit burns dirty.

@1stMarineCapt No, I'm usin' Hodgdon Universal Clays.
It's pretty dirty as well.

Amazing video, I loved the first person shots!
I've noticed the unburnt powder myself. Wrong powder or weak recoil spring?

@taofledermaus Not sure. Maybe it's the powder I'm using (Hodgdon Universal Clays), maybe it's a little slow burning.
