Why do ya think they drove locomotives for so many years on the right side of the cab, Then when automobiles came along they put the driver on the left side, I allways wonderd why, but have never heard why.
She's being restored. She still needs about 550K of work (not including any labor). The Midwest Railway Preservation Society is working slowly to restore her. The old B&O roundhouse is being rebuilt first to house her.
I rode the other trip with that engine on the CVSR. The one shot you have where the trees get in the way is sweet. They really have it cracking there. Very Nice vid.

Somehow that ticking air dryer doesn't sound right on a period steam engine. But a very beautiful video Blanch. Hope you like your "promotion".
