  • God created everything approx. 6000 years ago so this is Nonsense. To learn some real Science watch the videos on my channel.

  • Radiometric dating doesn't work - do some more "research".

  • Is Jeffamarie right or just BS? Did modern peache trees sxist 70 million years ago .Most trees date back much older .

  • You can also take the mineral and tap it on something to convey the sound of it being a heavy mineral .

  • thats cool!

You should try planting it and try to grow some fossilized peaches. ;)

  • Okay... how can it be a 70 myo peach pit when the genus Prudus (of which peaches are a member) evolved 44 myo?

  • It was from our peach tree...give it BACK!!! LoL JP Cool Video

  • sweet rock dude

  • im sorry to tell you but what you have found is not a peach pit...it appears to be a weathered rock, perhaps a geode that has similar characteristics that peach pits also have. Preserved seeds are extreamly rare and can usually not be identified from a certain plant species. Considering also you found this in a river bed, with no other fossil plants it is not a peach pit.

I advise you to contact a local museum or university if you wish to learn more about your rock.

    Reagards

  • just so u know, it wasnt a riverbed, it was a manmade canal.

so it could be a peach pit, or it could be a rock.

  • Why is there an age warning at the beginning, lol

  • wats a peach pit???

  • The seed inside of a peach.

He probably has a geode, or perhaps a concretion, but not what is being claimed.

  • NO WAY,YOU SERIOUS?

  • You've never eaten a peach before?

    Try eating some fruit fatty.

  • It is highly unlikely that is a peach pit fossil.

It looks like an Indian sex stone.

  • cool!

  • well i havent found anything of much importance yor so lucky

  • Very nice...go for it dig up that area :0)...were on early cretaceous and we just love finding fossils.

  • I wish I had the time to do that. When I was in 8th grade I found a fossil of a trilobyte up in the rock quarries of PA , dummy me decided to give it to my science teacher, wish I still had it

  • you sure are good!

  • TY 4 your comment

  • very cool dude...

  • ur own footage?

  • Yes it is, I've had this fossil for 35 years, really didn't think much of it over the years until now
